It's hot everywhere. Here in Kolkata, it's been >100F the last few days - it's 95 right now as I type. In that case, they could do what they did in 2009, and move the IPL to South Africa. Or maybe NZ, where it's winter in both places and likely to be more pleasant for all the cricketers

I agree w/ Gavaskar & Dravid. First of all, India has rains every year - it's just that they tend to shift a bit every season. So it's more a case of better water conservation practices that would solve this. I mean, come monsoons, and we have flooding issues in several cities. So finding ways of conserving that and utilizing it in drought situations would go some distance in solving that.

So they replaced Miller w/ Vijay? Hope that works throughout, although I would have liked for Marsh to be the captain. Also, maybe they should drop Miller for a match or 2 and have Maxi, Marsh, Stoinis and Abbott/Johnson as their 4 overseas players.

I thought KKR had their strategy right in the last match, except that they could have had Yusuf @ 3, Russell @ 4 & Surya @ 5. For overseas guys, they should keep Narine, Hogg, Morkel and for the 4th, choose b/w Lynn & Holder, depending on whether the wicket supports batting or bowling
