CID launches its Kolkata Bureau

CID,the longest ever running television series will launch its Bengali version CID Kolkata Bureau on Sony TVs Bangla Entertainment Channel AATH.This brand new series in Bengali will have its own batch of officers and a dash of local flavor with stories influenced by the rich local culture of Bengal,thus making it extremely interesting and relevant to the people there.The plot during the premiere week revolves around a little girl who goes missing from a mall.Her mother makes her sit on a center portion in the mall and tells the bodyguard to look after her,while she finishes shopping.When she returns she finds her daughter as well as the bodyguard missing.She gets quite worried and speaks to the security in-charge of the mall.Finally,they solicit help from the CID Kolkata Bureau headed by ACP Birsingha.Noted television and Bengali film actor Kaushik Chakraborty will be essaying the character of Birsingha,Kolkata counterpart of ACP Pradhyuman.Joy Bhattacharya will play the role of a fearless cop Ronojoy,Trivikram Ghosh as Tej,Debashree Chakraborty as the svelte police officer Gargi,Partha Pratim Dutta as Satyaki,Biplab Banerjee as Doctor Arrow and Paulami Banerjee as the assistant forensic Doctor Jaggyaseni.

CID Kolkata Bureau launches tonight and will air every Monday and
Tuesday at 10 pm only on AATH.

it wont be same as cid ever ... but still i really hope itll be a success 😃 ..
We shouldnt compare it with cid ... i hope itll have some good stories ..
Even though i wont understand will try watch an epi today.
