Why would he stay back?? He can always go on behalf of CID (its also nominated in crime show category). And he is a pillar of CID. But seeing his media shyness, I doubt if he'd have attended the function even if he'd have been nominated. It wouldn't have been surprising seeing someone else receiving award on behalf of Adi sir.

CID is a kids show these days and which scores are silly piano dialogue, breaking doors etc.

I am not surprised if love story, film promotion and kids special that have more trp.

but i think the godfather of this differentiation is sony only

fw are just puppets

sony is giving great chances to daya sir like they get him in JDJ and then Movers and Shakers but abhi sir is not given any other chances to appear even on sony

one completely agree with vis di that even the non-watchers of cid know that there is a kid's favorite cop daya in the show but i can bet not all of them may be knowing some abhijeet also exists

the reason being abhi sir is not so popularised by sony or even fw

and fw also had helped in making daya sir idol for kids but have given abhi sir a serious and angry avatar and on too that he is facing ignorance from sony

and the most hurting thing i just came acrossed is acp sir daya sir and freddy sir getting nominated but one of the finest actor adi sir is long away from the list

Even in the banner for CID-CP triweekly promo (appearing on the bottom of the screen or the top left corner), they are showing Satam sir and Daya on behalf of CID followed by Anup Soni for CP..Where is Aditya sir?

Nope.. Its all three... ACP sir.. Next daya sir and then Adi sir.. Shukravaar..shanivaar and ravivaar

I am not talking about the extensive promo...I am talking about the combined banner for CP-CID...Aditya sir is not shown in that one...If they just want to show the lead character just as they used to in case of CID-CP-Adaalat combined promo, why show Daya at all, just show ACP.
And even in the promo the sequence is wrong. Daya should be shown after Abhijeet as the latter is the second in command. They may have the same rank now but one must not forget that Daya used to call Abhijeet as "Sir" once upon a time.
