Even I started watching CID only two years ago. I remember that on seeing it for the first time, I found it to be quite silly. But, when I saw the Asha era cases in the rerun, I understood the real essence of CID. When I asked my friends which CID cases they preferred more, the unanimous reply was that they liked the new ones. This is not the case only with youngsters. Many mature people also feel the same. They did not watch CID during its golden period as they found it to be like a documentary. So, in a way, Sony and FW can't be blamed. After all, they have to keep going. I can only say one thing that our masses have yet to become mature.

Yup and If FW increases the A & T stuff.. next year you will surely see Adi sir's name in the nominations... that's the fact of life...

and more than strato.. senti dialogs and scenes are what that catch attention... watch these K serials... (NOIM to K serial watchers) everyone wants senti scenes to be done by their favorite actor...
Now check last saturday's promo... Daya sir wasn't even hit..yet there was an expression of being shot on his face.. everyone shouted Daya sir... and because of that.. everyone watched the case.. TRP's increased...

Acting is less admired these days.. sentism is what people are looking for

if we consider today's viewers of tv most prefer love stories and die for the young and chocolaty actors who do silly things and make them laugh and such characters nowadays are getting more popular then the sensible characters

I am sure he will not even bother to attend. Even the Sahasi Jodi award last year was collected by Daya alone.

I can't blame him for avoiding parties and award functions like the plague. I myself do the same. But he being a celebrity, has to be a bit forthcoming. He may not be bothered about his popularity and think of awards as mundane things. But what about his ardent fans?😔

If Adi sir does not want to attend that is different thing...he should have been nominated atleast...his name should have been there. there is no category to nominate him for, there is no link of his attending parties and awards ceremony with that of nomination...he has been given only A-T stuff
