Even I started watching CID only two years ago. I remember that on seeing it for the first time, I found it to be quite silly. But, when I saw the Asha era cases in the rerun, I understood the real essence of CID. When I asked my friends which CID cases they preferred more, the unanimous reply was that they liked the new ones. This is not the case only with youngsters. Many mature people also feel the same. They did not watch CID during its golden period as they found it to be like a documentary. So, in a way, Sony and FW can't be blamed. After all, they have to keep going. I can only say one thing that our masses have yet to become mature.

Yup and If FW increases the A & T stuff.. next year you will surely see Adi sir's name in the nominations... that's the fact of life...

and more than strato.. senti dialogs and scenes are what that catch attention... watch these K serials... (NOIM to K serial watchers) everyone wants senti scenes to be done by their favorite actor...
Now check last saturday's promo... Daya sir wasn't even hit..yet there was an expression of being shot on his face.. everyone shouted Daya sir... and because of that.. everyone watched the case.. TRP's increased...

Acting is less admired these days.. sentism is what people are looking for

if we consider today's viewers of tv most prefer love stories and die for the young and chocolaty actors who do silly things and make them laugh and such characters nowadays are getting more popular then the sensible characters

I am sure he will not even bother to attend. Even the Sahasi Jodi award last year was collected by Daya alone.

I can't blame him for avoiding parties and award functions like the plague. I myself do the same. But he being a celebrity, has to be a bit forthcoming. He may not be bothered about his popularity and think of awards as mundane things. But what about his ardent fans?😔

If Adi sir does not want to attend that is different thing...he should have been nominated atleast...his name should have been there. there is no category to nominate him for, there is no link of his attending parties and awards ceremony with that of nomination...he has been given only A-T stuff

I have finally finished reading all the 18 pages.

I am feeling disgusted that Aditya sir has not been nominated for the award he deserves. It is well known that the Indian masses have allowed themselves to become an immature lot in the past 7-8 years. Reasons nay excuses are aplenty starting from plum high stress multinational jobs to K-soaps. Inspite of all this a huge I can even say a massive number of people are the reason real interview shows are going strong on TV channels in all languages regardless of the soaps and public appearances of so called stars.

Here it is a plain case of happily and carelessly forgetting the one person who did carry CID singel handed to a pinnacle just by sheer good acting. Aditya Srivastav. He could have opted out of CID anytime. Even now, but, I doubt if CID can keep going on just because of one superhero. What happens when all these kids grow up? They realise their super hero is just like chota Bheem a figment of their imagination. Then what?

Coming back to the matter at hand, I would say it is just that Sony showing all who has the say in matters of recognising "Pure talent" using public opinion as a mere tool. I just hope this high handed way is broken by Aditya Srivastav in a fitting way sometime in the near future.

Being seen in parties is a personal choice. Many stars be it the film industry or TV industry have chosen to remain away from it. It will be great to see Adity sir more in public i do agree.

If anyone of the duo is not nominated,any cid fan is bound to feel sad about it.They both are very good actors

So in a victory of anyone of them,there's victory for the whole team..

I find Satam sir,Aditya sir,Daya sir equally wonderful actors and they truly deserve these nominations & awards.. I always wish that the duo's nominated in the best actor or best supporting actor category..They both deserve this.

Now that Satam sir & daya sir have been nominated in the best actor/best supporting actor category,its great to know that..but Aditya sir too should have been nominated..

The success of CID is because of the combined efforts of Satam sir,Daya sir,Aditya sir.

Moreover the thought that even dinesh sir could have been nominated in the best supporting actor category came to my mind ,on seeing the nomination list.

Through the forum discussions,I came to know that Aditya sir had been nominated twice in best supporting actor category in some awards function..so why not now?😕

And I really wish we get to see interviews of the duo..hoping that some day we get to see both Aditya sir & Daya sir being interviewed together,especially in some nice chat show😊

I agree " Darwaza tod is just a part of it but they ignore the real Daya. And they totally ignore AS. Its not right
