Why the Difference????

How do you refer to the two main pillar's of CID?
"Abhijeet and Daya" or "Daya and Abhijeet"

NO - We refer to them as "Duo". No one first and no one last, they together are the best.

When hundred's and Thousands of fans don't make a difference between Aditya Shrivastava and Dayanand Shetty then why do the Media, the production house and the so called jury or celebrities make a difference between "Duo"????

The question is not why Dayanand shetty given more opportunities.. The question is why aren't similar opportunities given to Aditya Shrivastava?

NOTE: This is not a thread to compare Duo.. Its a thread to stop differentiation between out "Duo".

Please provide your views on the same.

You spoke my mind I was disheartened to see the nominee lists there ... I wanted their names to be together always ! They deserve this much at least. I have refrained myself from voting in that contest initially. But then I think Daya sir deserves it, so I will vote for him obviously.

I have a serious doubt that the style.. which has been provided to Daya sir... is the culprit.. "The darwaaza tod stuff.." which has brought him into eyes of every one.. but for Adi sir,, there isn't something like that.. Which is why.. this stuff is happening... ???

You are right Asto ! Unfortunately, that style is not the reason why I love Daya sir . The reasons are purely different. Abhijeet has his own style as well, but i suppose they were never portrayed in particular. Like his shooting capabilities, his brainwork etc, but instead they focus him as the Lover boy Its sad FW itself has started the differences !

I really don't know what to say. I am really really sad at Adi sir being given a royal ignore in that award nominations.

For me Abhijeet is the best, come what may. I don't care two hoots about people who compare Daya and Abhijeet. Its a fact that when CID is in dire need of showing something new, it turns to Abhijeet. I won't mince my words and say hypocritically that for me both are equal. Daya is good but for me no one can hold a candle to Aditya Srivastav's contribution to CID.
Now, as to why Daya is promoted as the "face" of CID.Well, it is because he is tall and muscular which causes people to think in a stereotypical manner that only bulky and huge men can be tough cops. I would prefer it more if he lost some weight now. It is only for the past two episodes that Abhijeet has also been shown in proper action scenes. In fact, I was quite surprised that FW showed him capable of fighting without needing any assistance from the "one man army" Daya.
I also feel that while making an episode, FW's target audience seems to be only kids. Consequently, Daya has to be shown as the superhero in order to kick start their fantasies. There was a time when I admired Daya for his gentle nature. Sadly, his present persona is a far cry from the previous more desirable one.
Last but not the least, Aditya Srivastav himself is to blame for this blatant disparity. Being a celebrity, one has to be more outgoing and forthcoming which he certainly is not. I appreciate Daya for being instrumental in promoting CID in other shows and events.

Aditya sir accepts it all ..and that is actually sad to see. He cant help it anyways..and its not Daya sir or Satam sir's fault. So its fine that way. But someone of Aditya Srivastav's callibre deserves much more. Whoever has spoken to him personally will understand how easily this man accepted this fact in his mind. Even in his interviews, its clearly visible ! I cant explain this 😒

He suffers from the problem of inferiority complex despite being the best actor among CID's cast. There are many others who do not let go of even a single opportunity to revel in their successes.

@Deepika: I wouldn't say Abhijeet is the only best.. or from my view.. I being a little more inclined towards Daya sir than Abhi sir.. I wouldn't say Daya sir is the only best... Both have contributed a lot to the show.. and both are perfect in their roles...
Yes.. Daya sir has been given an extra hype for his door breaking stunts.. but from my view.. the door breaking thing is all childishness...He is like stereotyped .. his work these days is to break the door or slap the criminals... Now do we want Adi sir's popularity at the cost of his real talent.. by giving him a silly style.. one like Daya sir has got???
