Yeah the parallels- circles will begin- I do not mind it actually as I started watching CB late (in May of 09) and missed those "special episodes- hopefully they will recapture the ?magic"= today Kanha was back in "full force" metting out justice to the "bad guy".
Actually, many of us liked Hiten and were looking forward to his track as Shantanu who is similar to the character of Karan. Many of the audience didn't like the way he was brought in as a stalker, but were ok with his portrayal since his interaction with Vishaka. So, it looked like they are bringing in a character who is going to be complex and grey. He really had good negative chemistry with both Radhika and Dev. So, it was a real good Karan-Arjun-Drapaudi type story, but the creatives had to ruin it by making Shantanu a killer of Dev. First of all, this show is not about killers. They did that with Amma and ruined her character for all of us to the point where we can't even bear to see her on our screens as she is roaming scot free. Then, they did it with Vishaka which didn't go with her oriiginal character and finally with Shantanu.
Shantanu's character was not responsible for their low ratings, but the treatment of these various tracks since last December and particularly since March is the problem. They showed such a haphazard return of Vishaka that they started ruining Dev, Radhika, Shastriji and Dadi's characters. Anyway, there are several threads on this.
As far as the new circles are concerned, if they show the new track in a manner that is consistent with the story of Dev and Radhika, then it is fine. Otherwise, it would be the same thing.
