A special Delhi court on Friday awarded death sentence to all four convicts in the December 16 gang-rape case.

I know , this news has nothing to do with our forum but wanted to share with all as have been following this case for the past few days . It effected a lot of us very deeply . This is just a trial court , we will have the high court and then the supreme court post that but seriously hope , this case changes something in our society.

Happy for the judgement but it should be the same in all rape cases so that it will make people think before committing a crime.

But the 5th person got off with just 3 years in juvenile reform house, because apparently he wasn't an adult when the rape took place. How you can call a rapist a child is just beyond me. I really hope their sentences are not commuted to life imprisonment.

I dunno , how will the girl's family ever get over it. I as a stranger find it so difficult to read an article in the paper , where their is a description of what they did ...its horibble .

only one rape case got noticed ..what about the others huh???
i read a report in newspaper that more than 100 rape cases where filed in courts...and reported in police stations just in delhi itself from jan till aug ...but what's the use??? this will end like this and after some days or months or years a similar case will again happen and again all this will continue...
unless the govt take any step for the protection of woman nothing can be changed ...

This will haunt them forever..I don't think they will ever get over it.. I mean how can they.. Even I find it hard to forget so I can't imagine how her family must be feeling.. Those disgusting perverts do not deserve to be called human. At least justice was served this time.. But I don't think these things will ever going to stop..What can I say, this world is full of creeps ..
