I did start to watch the show based on 3 things, my impression that the show was based on a premise similar to Khoobsurat movie which I loved, the immense talent of Supriyaji and immense talent and belief in Sanaya Irani.

After watching for abut 2 months, I am almost ready to give up because the storyline is just typical Saas bahu show and not the tremendously entertaining Khoobsurat. There is nothing modern or new here and if anything, it hurts to see both Supriyaji and Sanaya's talents so underutilized in a show that has so far shown tha tit has nowhere to go.

Loved the discussion and analysis of what is lacking because people have made very good points. Hope the PH resolves their identity crisis soon.

But I do think that the tone of the TM was kind of rude, criticism should be presented in a more pleasant manner though I doubt this forum could take that either.

I wanted to bold the whole post but the ones I have kept in bold are exactly my feelings. What the show promised, it didn't deliver till now and it is more than 3 months since the show started. I expected a clash of modernity vs conservative but nope it turned into evil saas - good bahu storyline. And the characters keep on disappearing, dogs went away, now CC's family is out, purvi is out, CC's other friend is out - pretty soon there would be only CC, UB and Manav with the bahus Ranjana, Sanjana, Kaumudi in the show. The creatives have huge star cast and they have to explore all the characters by putting scenes here and there and progress all the tracks together. Or else slowly one by one all the actors will move on as no one wants to do a show where they are required only for 10 scenes in a month.

@bold purple:- The fans on the forum unfortunately are very biased and wish they did what you have written here.

@bold red:- This is the one reason why it hurts - to see Sanaya in this show where her talent is not all utilized and the offscreen drama ka toh, the less said the better.
