i mean it is gr8 to be concentrating on women empowerment, but not at the expense of making the younger guys look useless...lead guy is ajeeb no doubt, what did the broom..err groom do?😕 he did not even have a word to say about the broken wedding...he did not even want to talk to her, the family! for what is the rush...so much so that the guy, his family and 25 lakhs vanished into thin air! in all the rush, the writing of this show does come across as insensitive, sloppy, cliched most of the times.
in most of the shows, young guys are shown as spineless, mummy's chamchas instead of being practical and capable of making a decision! i hope that the male lead here is not one such type😳 coz yesterday was very disappointing!

does happy easy going type men should react like half wit ?🤔😕

J- uproariously funny and absolutely awesome Take 5! In addition to the generous dose of mirth it also gave such a crafty account of the proceedings that I didn't get to see first hand- thank you!

Exactly my peeve with the writers for yesterday's episode. Where is the dulha ? what about having a scene with dulha and his family ? and did they return the 25 lakhs - Why can't the writers close loops properly before moving on. I mean it is not as if they have a deadline to close everything and so they are rushing. The show has just started - take your time, show your writing powers in the characters and let the tale begin. Till now the 4 episodes really looked like something that was put together very hurriedly - Not something that was thought over like the number of friends Chanchan has, the meeting of MIL and DIL and the meeting of the leads. Given that these are crucial points, I am so disappointed that the writing sucked royally for the first week. If they don't pull up their act, I don't see this show being able to sustain my interest for long.

few things learnt from CC this week-

1)eating ice-cream and enjoying it with family and frens after a broken marriage is a must😲

2) according to a history prof any girl who has disaster called tooti shaadi,will definitely find a much better match--in future,near or distant not mentioned👏

(brides father seems to be pretty much happy after this revelation)😃

last but not the least..

GIGLING IS THE BEST THING U CAN DO WEN INFORMED BOUT A "TOOTI SHAADI"😆

Chhan Chhan is turning out to be less than an ocassional watch for me at the moment- if 1.15 epis out of 4 is any indicator. Partly gruelling AD and partly really not terribly inspired based on what little I have seen and read.

I am not sure what the draw is with having tyrannical mother-in-laws that are tamed either by the fiesty bahu or the wan smiling one who takes the slow and steady route to transforming the MIL from hell. From what I have seen and read this one intends to take the same eventual route which is off-putting.

I happen to have caught the initial few epis of the earlier offering from this PH when my in-laws were visiting and must say the epis were fairly engaging. Interestingly that one did not have an MIL. I did not watch it once the in-laws returned to desh but it had nothing to do with the soap itself. One would have thought the PH would have adopted a similarly refreshing approach and they even had that inspiration-that-never-was to work with😭

Oh well, jingle or not, will continue to come to the take 5s - coz iske bina toh jaise koi baat banti hi nahi hai❤️

Hi Payal ji... I liked your previous MIL better than this MIL from hell... she was more colourful and less MIL from hell! Hope they add shades and planes to both the MIL and DIL to keep us engaged... at the moment is looks like the same old saas bahu wine served up in a new bottle...
