Bigg Boss 19: Shehbaz Badesha on people saying he got the show only because of Shehnaaz: 'I got it because….'

Shehnaaz Gill's memorable run on Bigg Boss 13 captivated viewers and Salman Khan. Now, her brother, Shehbaz Badesha, is ready to charm audiences. He's joining Bigg Boss 19 as the season's first wildcard contestant. Shehbaz is set to bring his unique personality to the show, promising an exciting addition to the house dynamics.

Initially, fans chose Mridul Tiwari over Shehbaz to enter Bigg Boss 19. Mridul got the spot, and Shehbaz left after the premiere. Now, he's back! In an interview, Shehbaz shared his experiences, gameplay strategies, and the relationships he's formed inside the house.

On his strategies for the house

Shehbaz mentioned he plans to be himself on the show, without any specific strategies. Talking about his rift with Mridul, he clarified, “No, I don’t think it will continue because on stage, Mridul started it first by questioning my confidence. Mujhe toh pehle bhi bachcha lagta tha aur abhi bhi bachcha lagta hai. (I found him immature earlier, and I still do)."

Revealing the strongest contestant

Regarding the strongest contestant, Shehbaz stated to HT that for him, strength is about audience popularity. He believes Abhishek Bajaj is the strongest, while Natalia is the weakest.

Regarding the Baseer-Farhana dynamic, Shehbaz believes it's insincere on Baseer's part. He recalled Baseer telling Farhana "I love you" during a task, but later admitting he said it only to get her to leave him alone. Shehbaz thinks the whole thing is fake.

On claims about getting the show because of Shehnaaz

When asked about claims that he's on the show because of his sister, Shehnaaz, Shehbaz responded confidently, “Acchi baat hai agar meri behan ki wajah se mila hai. Agar aapki koi behan hai toh aap bhi use karo (It’s a good thing if I got this because of my sister. If you have a sister, you should use that too). If it were only because of Shehnaaz, 6-7 dhakke nahi khaye hote maine (I wouldn’t have faced 6–7 rejections) and kept manifesting this. I got it because of my destiny and Shehnaaz’s blessings. If people compare me to her, I’m proud.”

Comparisons between both the seasons

Comparing seasons 13 and 19, Shehbaz shared his thoughts. “Bigg Boss 13 alag tha aur contestants alag the. Yeh alag hai. (Bigg Boss 13 was different; the contestants were different. This is different). Digitally, Bigg Boss has grown a lot since then. Both seasons are good in their own way, and I think season 19 will also be one of the best.”
