Naah... I happened to come across the latest promo of Ghum while changing channels. Dimag ka dahi ho gaya.

Bahen I have had my share of paranthas and I'm done. Acchi baat to yeh hain ki iss bar yeh forum specific hain to I only read and placed votes on the rather unconventional categories like original fiction or mythological shots. Otherwise iss Piya-Bhakt ki jaan nikal jaati aur mera koi Ansh bhi nahi hain jo mujhe godh mein uthake tandaav karein. 😛 😛 😛

Well I agree... we both have had a fair share of paranthas and we both are done with them. I too am glad that this contest is forum specific.

Baaki I'm glad ki acchhe stories hain... do recommend me some. Will read when I will have some free time.

But on a serious note, actually there are good stories out there but I can't just convince myself to picture the horrendous characters that we watch on TV in those rather good works. So that's my shortcoming and I accept that.

Understandable... because even I have this shortcoming somewhere.

However these days what's annoying me is the choice of book covers. I mean kya itna romance ya bare body ghusana zaroori hain? You can't really blame the graphicers because writers khud hi aise cover demand karte hain. It's just annoying. Par ha, kuch to unconventional bhi hain. To woh covers dekhne mein bada maaza aata hain.

Well, aaj kal there are many who choose covers to grab eyeballs and I don't know why and how but unconventional covers or covers having overdose of bare body/hot stuff easily grab eyeballs.

He was already supposed to have been approached twice... and this is the third one and that too within a month.

If he is indeed approached and gets finalized, my best wishes are with him... but if it again turns out to be a "hawa hawai" article then I'm done!!

Didn't see the entire thing but whatever I saw was: Virat is in the hospital room; Sai sneaks inside in surgery clothes and Virat wakes up. She takes off the green gown, cap and mask and reveals a red saree with sleeveless blouse and she dances to "Kaate nahi katt-te" and Virat is obviously unmoved.

Idhar I reached my saturation point and switched the channel before the voice over could begin...

Initially when I read that portion, I thought that maybe he was talking about adjusting dates for Hyderabad to visit his family because he said that he would be shunting between Hyderabad and Mumbai. But baad mein jab socha to dimag mein aaya ki he isn't doing any other show so what is the issue of dates?! Thoda weird laga udhar...

Baaki I'd definitely like to see him as a cop...

But I'm not going to believe any news until he is actually finalized and the shooting begins.

Now coming to the series, I'm not too sure about the romantic angle because I generally do not enjoy romantic angles in cop/detective type shows unless they are incorporated well. I just hope the series is made well because its been quite some time I watched some cop/detective drama series.

Everybody is excited for Shefali Shah and Vidya Balan but I started jumping in joy seeing Vidharti Bandi 😳 😳 😳 I liked her saas in Shiddat and am really glad that she got to star in what seems to be a story-driven movie.

Like I always give an example of CID. They showed two romantic angles there: Abhijeet-Taarika and Daya-Shreya. In the former case, they gave certain cringey flirting scenes but apart from those, the romantic angle never affected the storyline of the episodes nor did it cause any of the characters to be compromised. On the other hand in the second case, they made Daya and Shreya behave as love sick teenagers, totally out of character especially for Daya who was never shown like this not even when his first love interest was introduced.

So, if the romantic angle is incorporated properly, I am all for it but if it messes with the story or the characters, I hate that.

Arjun was one of my favourite shows too though I enjoyed it more before they revamped the show and brought in a new team.

You see, I have my conflict regarding Rono. I still stand by my word that when you couldn't remain faithful to your so called "Love of Your Life" why did you give her a promise and drag a poor 18 years old into the mess? So he would forever be a villain in both Rupkotha and Emon's lives.

But other than that, he always maintained boundaries. I have seen till the point when he apologizes to Rup for falling in love with Emon and after that point I can't really blame him for Rup's madness. He cleared his stance to both of the women and it was on them to decide what they wanted from their lives.

Since Shruti Track came much after the Confession Track, even though I get how wrong he had been to hide Shruti's truth from Emon, somewhere along the line I get Rono's point too that when he never crossed his boundary with Rup then how could Emon mistrust him?

And that's what happened in the last track too. It was his anguish that why did he have to prove his love over and over again? Why couldn't Emon understand him?

Now from a normal girl's POV, Emon wasn't wrong because no one, I repeat no one would want a husband who would leave you for fulfilling his duty towards other women. It was human of her to get fed up and leave Rono.

But so was Rono justified in his position. Or at least, that's how I feel. You can't fall in love seeing someone's selflessness and then expect him to turn it off.

It was a screwed up situation for both of them.

Where Ghum has felaoed the Raita is, Virat never clarified Sai's confusion regarding Pakhi and the makers zabardasti ghusaoed another girl. They have tried to spice it up and have failed miserably.

Great! Recently I watched "A Wednesday", illogical in many parts but I really liked Yami Gautam in the movie and the overall plot. Since you like thriller, you might enjoy it. 👍🏼
