Coming to Chikoo thingy, I think the only show I know that has survived massive plot change is Naamkaran. Other than that, no show survived more than a few months. And of course there is TRKKH & Kumkum Bhagya. But they took time in introducing new gen and the plot didn't change drastically.

Now, if tomorrow they had started another show particularly focusing on bullying and body shaming, I would have been up for that. But unnecessarily dramatizing a show, then killing off the leads and entirely changing the plot - it was a big "NO GO" zone for me.

Although, I'd be honest, I do feel bad for the girl playing the FL since it was her first show. But I genuinely hope she gets something better in future.

I have not started any new show. These days I am more on movies. Finally downloaded the better version of "Badhai Do" and it's simply brilliant. 👏 👏 👏

Also before you ask me I got done with Meet, possibly it's around a month now and anyways I prefer one show at a time cos wo dekhna bhi mushkil se waqt milta hai.

Umm no. As far as I can remember, Rono always called Rup by her name. But as I said, he maintained boundaries. The families never suspected him to have any illicit relation with Rup. They believed they were good friends from before their wedding.

That is the main difference between the Shruti track there and here... There, it came after they had confessed their love (and I guess Emon was pregnant too, no? Udhar kisi ne mention kiya tha) so, I too understand his frustration there that when he never crossed his boundaries with Rup, how could his wife not trust him to maintain his boundaries with Shruti.

I think there was a short track before Shruti like the original villain who was after Emon came out and kidnapped her. But Rono showed unflinching trust on her and said even if he had touched her inappropriately, it wouldn't matter to him. There was actually a really good scene of Rono applying ointment on Emon's back and their casual conversation. I liked how organic they made it without any BGM or gimmick. Plus there were a few additional things. After that Shruti Track came.

Since I agree with you on the remaining portions, I am not quoting it. 😛

I do have a special waala love for Daya-Shreya and the ridiculous scenes of Abhijeet-Taarika.

I would have had nothing against D-S had they not shown the two especially Daya behave like silly teenagers. That looked so ridiculous... especially in case of Daya who didn't behave like that when he was shown in love for the first time back in 2006-07. Shreya ka to phir bhi samajh aaya because she was shown as an admirer of Daya right from the beginning, a small crush was already there so, it didn't come off as a surprise to see her behaving like that.

One good romantic angle that I found in CID was of Smita Bansal's character Aditi. They had wholesome scenes and no faltu ka cringe was there... even though she was there only for a short while.

Well, movies based on Homosexuality usually try too hard to force-feed the audience its plot and hence become preachy. Movies that treat the characters as rather normal human being, stands apart. That's what I liked about "Badhai Do". The protagonists are very human and the actors, each one of them were amazing in their respective roles.

Sach batau to judge karne ke liye to idea bhi honi chahiye. And I have no clue about the show. 🤪Otherwise, remakes too can be good unless the PH tries hard to make it Masaladar and destroy the essence. As long as you are enjoying it, I am glad for you. 👍🏼
