Coming to Chikoo thingy, I think the only show I know that has survived massive plot change is Naamkaran. Other than that, no show survived more than a few months. And of course there is TRKKH & Kumkum Bhagya. But they took time in introducing new gen and the plot didn't change drastically.

Now, if tomorrow they had started another show particularly focusing on bullying and body shaming, I would have been up for that. But unnecessarily dramatizing a show, then killing off the leads and entirely changing the plot - it was a big "NO GO" zone for me.

Although, I'd be honest, I do feel bad for the girl playing the FL since it was her first show. But I genuinely hope she gets something better in future.

I have not started any new show. These days I am more on movies. Finally downloaded the better version of "Badhai Do" and it's simply brilliant. 👏 👏 👏

Trust me, neither were Chatterjees (Rono's family members) this shallow nor was Emon such a doormat.

Well, I know such things sell in ITV... and that is why I wonder why do people actually like to watch such trash?! I mean how do they have the patience and tolerance level to bear with all this?!

I know now... I have read descriptions of the original show at that forum. People who have watched the original do write long posts describing what happened in which track and how did the characters behave. And everyone is saying the same thing that Emon was not a doormat of this level and the Chaterjee fam was also not this shallow.

You see, I have my conflict regarding Rono. I still stand by my word that when you couldn't remain faithful to your so called "Love of Your Life" why did you give her a promise and drag a poor 18 years old into the mess? So he would forever be a villain in both Rupkotha and Emon's lives.

But other than that, he always maintained boundaries. I have seen till the point when he apologizes to Rup for falling in love with Emon and after that point I can't really blame him for Rup's madness. He cleared his stance to both of the women and it was on them to decide what they wanted from their lives.

This is something that the members there point out every now and then that Rono always maintained his boundaries.

Someone also said that he called Rup formally as "Sister in law" which Virat never did. Is that so?

Since Shruti Track came much after the Confession Track, even though I get how wrong he had been to hide Shruti's truth from Emon, somewhere along the line I get Rono's point too that when he never crossed his boundary with Rup then how could Emon mistrust him?

And that's what happened in the last track too. It was his anguish that why did he have to prove his love over and over again? Why couldn't Emon understand him?

That is the main difference between the Shruti track there and here... There, it came after they had confessed their love (and I guess Emon was pregnant too, no? Udhar kisi ne mention kiya tha) so, I too understand his frustration there that when he never crossed his boundaries with Rup, how could his wife not trust him to maintain his boundaries with Shruti.

Now from a normal girl's POV, Emon wasn't wrong because no one, I repeat no one would want a husband who would leave you for fulfilling his duty towards other women. It was human of her to get fed up and leave Rono.

But so was Rono justified in his position. Or at least, that's how I feel. You can't fall in love seeing someone's selflessness and then expect him to turn it off.

I was actually thinking about C.I.D. and your special-wala love for Daya-Shreya. 😉

I do have a special waala love for Daya-Shreya and the ridiculous scenes of Abhijeet-Taarika.

I would have had nothing against D-S had they not shown the two especially Daya behave like silly teenagers. That looked so ridiculous... especially in case of Daya who didn't behave like that when he was shown in love for the first time back in 2006-07. Shreya ka to phir bhi samajh aaya because she was shown as an admirer of Daya right from the beginning, a small crush was already there so, it didn't come off as a surprise to see her behaving like that.

One good romantic angle that I found in CID was of Smita Bansal's character Aditi. They had wholesome scenes and no faltu ka cringe was there... even though she was there only for a short while.

Great! Recently I watched "A Wednesday", illogical in many parts but I really liked Yami Gautam in the movie and the overall plot. Since you like thriller, you might enjoy it. 👍🏼
