No Aaloo these are valid points. But somewhere I refuse to believe he is infedile to Pallavi. That's all. Maybe you are correct. I am really lost right now.
The point is just that to hold onto your ex in such high regard, to the point that the home you share with your wife is decorated as per her preferences, it is disrespectful to her na?
And I wanna give him benefit of doubt. Maybe the portrait was hung up like that subconsciously. Maybe it just never struck him to change it. And yes emotions are complex, they don't turn on and off on demand. Especially when they run so deep..so I don't even want to hold that against him.
But the smiling and blushing at her memories, thinking of her in his moments with Pallavi- it's disrespectful and borders on unfaithful.
And it's especially frustrating for us because of how Pallavi was treated in the Mandaar track. She never loved Mandaar. She never smiled or blushed at his thought. Ek baar she said ki 'life would have been different had he not died' and she was crucified for it.
Not to mention the disgusting comments made about her two timing Raghav, 'tasting both past and present', the calls for him to divorce her and kick her out, and people wanting her to get assaulted or worse to 'teach her a lesson'. The double standard is infuriating beyond belief because if Pallavi's crimes were that irredeemable then what Raghav is doing right now is worse.
And woh gussa nikal raha hai.
