U see I have seen many people on India Forums who usee to dislike Draupadi bcoz they didnt know the truth...
But once they were given citations, they accepted their mistake n stopped bashing Draupadi...
I, myself, had misconceptions which got cleared after coming to this forum...

People who dont understand, even when they are given logical explanations n citations...well they dont need debates...they need medical counselling...This was said to me by a Karnala friend... 😆 n I agree with him completely... 😊

well they actually don't bash draupadi or any character as such, they are quite open minded.. most of them respect draupadi but kinda have misconceptions about her like she she laughed on dury or she desired karna similar to what the general population of our country thinks about her thanks to the POI type novels , they agree what happened in the DS was completely wrong and cannot be justified under any circumstances.

don't worry they aren't those stubborn monsters we encounter on FB and twitter.

Next scene is Devavrata trying to know and finally comes to know. Then he goes to the fisherman's hut and takes his famous oath. Is there any confusion?

I don't think there is any confusion about it. Interestingly in the Indo version Satya and Parashara are married and he leaves her knowing that she has to marry Shanthanu to get to the Kuru race. Satya is actually a Matsya princess there.That's why I used the Princess bit in my part

Yes I guessed so. Even Indian version has a hint about it, if you read her birth story you can figure out. Anyway the fisherman knew that Satya was a princess. Does the Indo version too say so?

So are we going to make satya ati the one who asked to be the queen mother as per previous scene and not her father...?

We have shown Ganga in a negative light, if satyawati is also shown as selfish..will there be an impact on dev rat regarding his perception of women...will he turn misogynist...waiting for the next scene eagerly with hopes for answers to above questions in them

Matsya Raj GAVE her to the Chief of fishermen to raise apparently. Not quite certain if the Chief of Fishermen is the same as Matsya Raj since they mean the same thing

But the implication is that no one knew of Parashara or Vyasa till Satya revealed it. So I assumed Shanthanu only knew her as a commoner and not as a Princess of Matsya. In which case the fisherman he talked to was either Matsya Raj in disguise or a different person altogether😆.

What say others on the thread?

What I am seeing is really 5 generations of women with mysterious pasts somehow coming into the Kuru parivaar

Ganga (tried Pratipa first, so you can even make it 6 generations) and Satya - Shanthanu
Ambika/Ambalika and also Amba - on SATYA's instructions (didn't work) so Vyasa was called in. And why was Amba so vehement on MARRYING Bheeshma? Why didn't she just seek asylum in HP?
Kunti - nothing mysterious, but also didn't work
Panchali - Pandavas
Uttara - nothing mysterious, but came full circle back to Satya's kingdom, by then Panchali had already done the work

What was it about this family of men or this kingdom? Can we discuss the possible geopolitics?
