Jyestha was in condition to give Arjun permission, that's clearly written. So I don't think they were 'doing' something there. They were King and Queen, maybe they had some work in weapons room.

EDIT - Just saw your post, Urmila. So, they had to go on exile for just seeing her together with one of the bros? 😲 They were insane to agree to such a rule. Does that mean then that none of YBANS ever saw P together with any of the brothers in completely innocent circumstances?😕

What about KP then? Both Bheem and Arjun were there. Who was she with and why didn't the other go on exile?😕

If this is the case, its all the more wierd that Arjun decides to go on an exile, no. YuDi, were King and QUeen, they would have had to spend a lot of time jointly doing things.

And what exactly does the sanskrit sloka say. Is it translated to real 'sitting' or something else?

Please note, Yudhi thought no rule was violated there. He is a truth speaker and he would never allow any rule to break. So I think Arjun did not violate rule. Yudhi requested Arjun again and again not to go. But Arjun thought that he broke the rule.
Sanskrit word, wait a little, I will post ASAP.
And I think Brishti should do this part to elaborate Arjun's feelings and dilemmas so I'm leaving this to her 😈😆

A holds Yudhi in high esteem, even after Yudhi telling him not to go, he does not listen. That's interesting. it looks like he couldn't accept the situation they were in.

Aadi Parva, chapter 205, verse 24:

Arjun to Yudhi:

samaya sama atikraanto bhavat sadarshanaan mayaa
vanavaasam gamiyaami samayoh esa nah kritah

so he is telling that he had made atikram (violation) of samay (time) and had a darshan of Yudhi (samdarshanaan) hence he will go to exile. Bhavat sandarshanaan mayaa = you were seen by me. No word is found here for 'sitting'.

And verse 11 says:

Aayudhaani cha yatraasan paanavaanaam mahaatmanaam
Krishnayaa saha tatra asid Dharmaraajo Yudhishthirah

That means the place where aayudh (weapons) were kept (of all Pandavas), there Yudhi was with (saha) Krishnaa. Now see the word is tatra asid, means resides there or lives there. Asid cannot be sitting. Asid is a simple word which implies 'it exists'. Asid is a verb. For example, kutra asid bhaban means where were you? So Yudhi was with Krishnaa, that's all. No mention of his activity with her.

Thx Urmilla. So how did KMG come up with this 'sitting' word. 'resides, lives, exists' none of these words can be used interchangeably with 'sitting'.

Just for seeing them together, Arjun decides to go on exile? That seems wierd.

And I feel bad for all 3 😭 I can't see any of hexagon in pain of separation. Nowadays I feel more bad for Yudhi when he is bashed for 'sending' Arjun to exile 😭 he tried to stop his brother but ultimately it is he who had to be a villain.
And I have seen many times how KMG adds extra words. Remember that elephants in 'rut' thing 😆
