I fast throughout the year K. I can finish off those fasts that I miss coz of monthlies any time. These fasts are recommended for both men and women. However, I will agree. Fasting in these months of Shawwal takes care of my pending fasts and I am relaxed till the next Mahe Ramazan

Oh good then but this break is unavoidable...is taking medicine to advance or postpone monthlies allowed for you guys? To ensure full fast during Ramzan?

Yes, we can. Though never thought of or seen anyone do this. For women, whether they work at home or outside, a few days break gives them a breather I feel

Yeah that is what I wanted to know...

Some do the Sabrimalai pilgrimage na, they do for 41 days staunchly or just few days, so the fruits borne are in accordance to the effort

Yeah like some go for Umrah for a week while others for a fortnight while some for a month. The duration depends upon the person. Here the reward will vary.

But when a woman misses her fasts during Mahe Ramazan she has no say in what her body does na. And she cant choose to fast inspite of it as it is not allowed. So, when you fast later, Allah (swt) will compensate 😊

Understood...so the fast is it defined by the number of days you missed or some other rule
