Baby and I have visited Iraq and Syria too (Syria for the grand daughters of the Holy Prophet (saww))Again, acc to Shia rules: Hajj of course with your own money or if your spouse or family can afford to send you. Or if you received inheritance. You can borrow and go for Hajj, Umrah or Ziyarat too (Ziyarat is visiting the graves). It is the promise of Allah (swt) that the loan will be paid with Divine help. Of course, gharwalon ko bhookha chod kar, karz lekar nahi jaana. You need to ensure you fulfill your responsibilities towards others before you just take off

Saiyu, as I have had irregular periods after I was 16, I have kept full fasts 4 years..3 years in a row in mahe Ramadan.. the last time my periods came on the night of Eid..Anyways, K, to answer your question, fasting throughout the whole month takes a toll...its really too draining..

I don't find fasting tough. I am sure it must be thought when you have bomb blasting in the background. Palestine. Syria. Iraq...
