Anu...Oh those avis remind me, yesterday even I watched Gulal...Ami watch it sometimes...toh aisehi I was watching with her. So why was Kesar getting married to someone else? And why was everyone except him OK about it?
Oh you watched it? LOL...yesterday's epi was really good with all the charged drama. The past 2-3 epis have all been really good actually.
As for your question:
To sum it up...Gulaal never considered her deeyarvattu with Kesar to really be a marriage...to her, it was just a ritual that she went through...and she had promised right after that that she would get Kesar married to Talli when they grew up...but she didn't tell Kesar or the family about this promise she had made...but in the last week, Kesar finally find out what Gulaal's intentions were and he's quite pissed off...he initially refuses to marry Talli but later on, after a confrontation with Gulaal where she tells him he has no right over her, he agrees to marry Talli to spite Gulaal and make her realize how wrong she was in making decisions for other ppl's lives without asking them...I'm giving you the broad gist...there's a lot of layers of turmoil to G and K's bond that's hard to explain in one go.
Anyways, long story short...Kesar realizes that he can't go through with the wedding even if it is to spite Gulaal cuz he can't deal with her leaving him and going away...so he stops before the final phera...and now all this drama will happen where Gulaal will finally realize that Kesar considered her to be his wife always even if she never believed in their marriage...
Everyone else was OK with the wedding cuz Gulaal manaaoed them...she thought she was doing everything for the greater good...and they bought into Kesar's drama when he said that he genuinely wanted to get married to Talli...only Gulaal came to know the real reason why he said yes later on.
