@Anu- yes, I liked him in AWTR also, though I cried like anything, lol.

Surprisingly from a CW show, this is much more mature than their usual stuff. It has teenagers but is in no way a teen show. What I like most about it is the attention to detail and continuity. And, of course, the brooding, angsty love story, lol. The concept is not wildly original, but the actors are all good, it has some surprising twists and turns and great action sequences. Plus even though there's a love angle, its not a teenybopper love drama saga.

You should check it out.

Edit: And I LOVE Shane's acting. His face has so many nuances in expression - someone else will say something, and he will, like, move ONE hair on ONE eyebrow, lol, and his expression will tell you everything you need to know. He's insanely talented.

Ok Vas, if you're saying it's more mature than usual lame CW shows *cough* TVD, Gossip Girl *cough*...then I guess it's surely worth a try!

Eee I'm reading great things about today's BALH epi!😃

Lol Amu - well, I don't watch GG or TVD or know a single thing about them apart from the fact that they both have bloodsuckers who fall in love, lol. So that should be indication enough;)

Eee, waiting to watch BALH then!

I find this CT show MIND-NUMBINGLY boring...it's not even ghaatily dumb enough for me to get laughs out of *sigh* KMH2 was better in that regard after Punji-Arohi got into that hate filled marriage for revenge mode...LOL.

LOL, I agree. KMH was unintentionally funny enough to laugh at (especially Punji). I didn't see too much of KMH 2 (isn't that show off air now?) but good lord the CT show is just awful.
I don't understand the appeal of such male characters anymore. I'd never be attracted to a man who tries to molest me and/or wants to humiliate me on national TV no matter how BIG of a heart he later reveals to have. *rolls eyes* I bet Khusee will eventually forgive ALL of Arnav's misdeeds once she starts to see his "good" side. If he was really such a good guy, he wouldn't have acted like a vindictive ass in the first place and vice versa. Aisa lagta hai that these heroes have a split personality disorder because no sane person can possess traits that are so poles apart from each other. Grey shaded hone ke bhi kuch usool hote hain bhai. 🤔

Sarah - agree with you re: BBB...also look at JWM. One of my all-time favourite movies, yet its concept isn't all THAT new. Hardly, in fact. But writing, treatment and acting is what makes it stand out.

Yep! BBB, JWM and even WUS ... there's a reason why these movies worked in spite of all the cliches. I wish Indian TV would attempt to change the way its shows are presented. Oh, and get better actors too. It would make so much of a difference!

Dil ka daactar is going to be in a hindi phillum? God save Bollywood!

Dare I ask which unfortunate soul is going to play his better half in the movie?

Hey you guys! 🤗

Too tired to say much right now.

The BALH epi was cute. The RP bits I mean of course. For some reason, watching these two puts a smile on my face. 😆 Liking these refreshing little nuances these two bring about. Also liking how we get to SEE their little character traits now as opposed to being told about them. The BALH title song was also played much more in this episode. All plus points. 👍🏼

Will discuss more later (hopefully).

Anu, love the avis, as always! Yay thank you! :D Captured my fav. bits again! The bindi scene was such a pleasant surprise! And yay for no trip catch! :P :D Ram and Sakshi are cuteee or what? :P

Vasu, Zainu...will discuss MB with you guys later too. I think I've totally got the hang of the story now. *proud muh* Minus some of the side characters.

P.S. Vasu I love the titles of your daily BALH posts! 😆

Ok, phir, goodnight haijee. 🤗

*sigh* I am so sick and tired of crap at home.. And of not being able to find the time to come on here to vent.. AND upar sey it seems that BALH just got good too (maybe it's the new director..?) and I can't seem to find time to watch that either even though you've given me the summary Anu..

*sigh*

*entirely frustrated/annoyed/sleepy muh*

I cannot wait for next weekend to come and this ridiculousness to end. *grinds teeth in annoyance*

Hi Pallo! Lol, thanks - I do try. I struggled with yesterday's title until I remembered Ram's dialogue 😆

MB - I missed yesterday's ep due to the Apprentice, but I really, really really liked Monday's episode and the discussion between Charu and Chandraprabha. I was expecting - and maybe hoping a little bit - for a proper Kekta style confrontation on why and how Chanda could abandon her daughter and not even care.

But, in the end I actually liked the way Charu understood and calmly listened to the saadhvi's points about having passed that life a long time ago. I did feel it a little odd that Chanda didn't even flinch or show any concern at the thought of Devki, but then it was presented very well that she had buried all the past pains of her life as Chandraprabha and become a new person a long time ago. I am sure that when she discovers that Devki is Ishwar's daughter in law, she will have more of a reaction.

Vaibhav hiring Devki on his project is an obvious ploy by the writers to bring them into even more contact, but as their story has been handled very well till now, I don't mind that much. I especially like the way that they have handled the Vaibhav-Sabina angle. I didn't like Sabina, so I am glad he is not with her, but I love the way they only bring her up very, very rarely, and only when there is an obvious connection, at least in Vaibhav's mind. Hope they continue it in this way and she doesn't just show up randomly to create a love triangle.
