@ Anu - I've been wanting to see The Blind Side for quite some time. Sandra won an Oscar for her role in that movie, so it's got to be good. The concept looks interesting too - I love such heartwarming storylines. Will watch the movie as soon as I can get my hands on it.

Have you seen Two Weeks' Notice? It's a pretty old movie. Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant starred in it. I enjoyed it ... their characters were so endearing! Sandra manages to weave life into each character that she portrays - you can't help but feel for her.

Edit: Hi LadyM! :-)

That's the next movie on my to-watch list. I am looking forward to watching it as well, esp. since Sandra got the Oscar for it.

Hi Sarah! *waves* How are you?

@Sarah: Yes, I've seen Two Weeks Notice.....very cute movie....Sandra Bullock is the undisputed queen of romantic comedies in my eyes....LOLL....she's truly America's sweetheart. I think there's hardly any Sandra Bullock movie that I haven't watched....maybe a couple of thrillers she did in b/w I may not have...but all her romantic/romantic comedy type of movies I have....she's a class apart....love her sense of humor...she seems to be an amazing person in real life too.....

The Blind Side is just fab....although I hope you don't feel lost in all the football talk....lol....it makes sense to me cuz I understand the sport pretty well...but anyways, the movie is more about the relationships :-)

No she has not. But she doesn't want to leave the house either. Because basically she has no other avenues left. She fought with her ex-BF and told him that she'll prove to him that she's marriage material, she fought with her Dad for ruining her life and is not on talking terms with him and she told Ishaan outright that she doesn't accept this marriage. But she can neither go back to her ex-BF nor her father as she's too proud to do so.

Ishaan's family is shown to be very happy-go-lucky types. In this scene they are playing dumb charades and invite Suhana to join them. She's not too happy, is actually bored, and even tries to back out, but the good humored family does not pay heed to her refusal. So to save face, she says that she'll guess the name of the movie, while Ishaan acts it out.

I see....thanks for explaining LadyM :-)

Yes I've noticed how happy go lucky Ishan's family is....a little TOO happy go lucky for me to manage to handle...I recall that being one of the reasons I couldn't manage to watch the show past 4 epis😆

LOL ... I agree. At times it does go it bit over board. I mean this is a joint family for heavens sake, how can they all get along without any hiccups? But then I guess later on as they develop the tracks of all the couples, they'll show their internal problems. Like Radha Bua's past, Elesh's being unemployed, Badi Maa's husband staying with another woman et al. They were busy developing the plot for Ishaan and Suhana's marriage, which is why the other tracks didn't have much precedence, Now that all the shor gul is over, they will try to show somewhat real aspects of a joint family.

This serial is an adaptation of a bengali serial. If they stick with the original story, that's the way they'll go, otherwise I don't know!

I hope so too. Nahin toh all serials start with a bang and end up being long drawn and boring. I know that's what's going to happen here as well, but I'm enjoying the interim journey :-)

Thank you once again for the wonderful siggy. You'll probably not believe me but I was waiting like an impatient child for it and once I saw your PM in my inbox, I was so ecstatic that I couldn't wait to sport it right away! I was hoping you'd be online at this hour so that I could personally thank you.

Chalo me off to hit the sack. G'night fellas!

Jennifer Winget and RJ Mantra, new hosts of Zara Nachke Dikha

02 May 2010 | 3:22pm 240 Comments

Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani will not be hosting Star Plus' Zara Nachke Dikha from now on, as Jennifer Winget and RJ Mantra step in as new hosts...

The Battle of Sexes – Zara Nachke Dikha on Star Plus has opened to a great response. While the boys and girls teams are packed with some great performers, the same cannot be said of the hosts Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani.

The hosts were found lacking during the shoot of the first two episodes, which forced the channel and production house to think of replacing them.

According to our source, "During the shoot of the first two episodes, Mohit and Sanaya could not put in their punch as hosts. The shoot was delayed a lot as the two had to go thro' too many retakes. Even the judges especially Shilpa Shetty was very much irked, and had even asked the crew to give the hosts some proper rehearsals before they appear on stage the next time".

All this prompted the channel to look for a proper replacement, and they have now managed to get a new set of hosts who will take over from Mohit and Sanaya from the third episode onwards.

According to our source, "Jennifer Winget who is presently seen in Star One's Dill Mill Gaye has proven her worth as host earlier, and will now be seen hosting Zara Nachke Dikha. RJ Mantra who is a very popular RJ at Radio Mirchi will be giving her company".

When contacted, Mohit Sehgal confirmed that Sanaya and he are not hosting ZND, but had a different reason to give. "Yes, it is true that we will not be hosting ZND from the 3rd episode. In fact, we have some issues with the date. We had to continuously shoot for 32 hours for the 1st episode, which hampered our shoot for the Star One show. Above all, the track in Miley Jab Hum Tum is revolving around Sanaya and me; so it gets very difficult to manage both".

A little birdie told us, "The shoot for the 3rd episode is happening today, and it will be Jennifer Winget and RJ Mantra who will be hosting the episode".

We tried contacting Jennifer, but she remained unavailable.

Our efforts to get in touch with Fazila Allana of SOL were in vain. We could not get a confirmation from the channel too.[/quote]

LMAO....who is NOT shocked at this piece of news?? 🤣....The Jaanuables only lasted two epis of hosting?? Awwww....LOLLL

@Anu: Not only am I not surprised with that news but also happy that I don't have to watch them put me to sleep on the show LOL, although in their defense , I must say that I didn't find them AS bad as I'd expected them to be but they were mechanical, boring and lacked that spunk and wit. Anyways, I was always against them hosting to begin with, they are cute and sweet but hosting needs some wit, some spontaneity and the ability to keep the atmosphere lively which these two are not capable of.

Anyhow, coming to good stuff- I saw the 19th episode and LOVED the subconsciously jealous Brennan, is she even aware that she is more bothered by Booth dating Catherine than Booth's about her dating Andrew? LOL Brennan, Brennan, Brennan *shakes head* aren't you so awkwardly adorable? Hahaha....the fantasy club concert was so sweet, awwwwwww @Brennan playing guitar and Booth singing, aren't they a treat to watch? 😍
You know I think Brennan's affected by the fact that Booth's more at ease about her dating Andrew and I am sure she must have thought that she would have been the one who would would be able to handle her feelings better than Booth and when it turned out to be opposite, she's stumped. Most of her references to Catherine, bringing her up in conversations where there is absolutely no reason to mention her etc., seem more like Brennan's attempts to convince her own conscience than just share the scoop about Booth dating someone, like the conversation she had with Cam for example, it was obvious that Brennan only spoke what she has been telling herself than trying to express her happiness over Booth trying to move on by dating someone. I LOVED Cam's reply to her BTW- she put it so wonderfully 👏. And I am happy that Cam's found a guy after a long time, he has a likable personality- Cam & Michelle's scene was sweet and seems like Hodgins-Angela are on their way to get back together too, loved their brief flirting scene in the lab - overall, Bones has made me very happy.
