@ LadyM - Same here, one of SG's major flaws was Samrat. His character was very moronic for someone who was supposedly smart and cool. Mohit's limited acting capabilities didn't help the situation either. - Ditto 😃
Also, have you ever noticed how desi soaps always make it look like the female geek is always poor and high on morals? When the cool dude and the geek clash, it's always about morals and social status, rather than their ideologies. The female will always flinch when the male touches her - not because she's a geek and hence not used to getting any attention from the opposite sex, but because it goes against her morals and values. Kind of annoying. For once I'd love to see a very cliched and old-fashioned love story between a jock and a nerd where there's no mention of class or sanskaar or chote shehar ke log. - Right. Being a geek and being high on morals is not synonymous. Look at Brennan and Bones for example. She's a geek, and she's very literal. He's smart, and he is high on ethics. Anu might have a different idea. But that's the way I look at them. Brennan doesn't lack morals, but due to her past, her value system is different.
SG didn't fit the bill; hopefully someday I'll get to see a well executed story of that sort. - Here's a toast to hoping you do get to see that you like :-)
