DID is fabbbb....but I guess you'll never watch it cuz of the ads bothering you in Zee😕😆😆....Zee is still a better channel overall these days I feel....Colors shows are really stagnating nowadays I think....ever since BV went down the drain.

LOL yes dragging is a given in most daily soaps but this Nakku is on a whole another level....as is your precious Bhagyavidhata show😆😆.....maybe it's just me but the pace of these shows is beyond even my patience😆😆.....I guess it depends on which characters we like enough to bear the shows for....I don't feel as connected to these characters as you do😆

I didn't say that Dutta needed to be oh so truly in lowe with Supriya...but if we're talking about empathizing with his 'heartbreak/angst' whatever, THERE I would probably feel more connected if his emotions for Sups had been deeper...which they aren't I guess....I don't really feel so connected with his history of 'losing a dear one/hopes shattered' or whatever either😆😆....so I guess I'll watch when he'll go and kick her and that bodyguard bf of hers's butts big time😆😆😆....that should be fun....I'll need to forward thru 987989 random scenes of Nakku crying and the evil sisters scheming though *sigh*😆😆

@Anu: I will not argue against or deny about the pace of LTL or BVD or Colors shows in general 'coz it is a FACT LOL but I guess since I am mostly sitting with a laptop while watching these shows, it doesn't affect me much overall as I happen to catch the good moments and don't bother watching the camera taking rotating shots of the actors holding hands or other stuff .
About Dutta, his previous "heart break" story didn't appeal to me either and I was not really convinced with the whole "the sound of the gun silenced the beats of my aching heart" stuff also , I didn't feel Dutta's jump into the other side was accounted for properly , as for empathy I don't feel it much either but I loved Mishal's acting and performance, I thought he was fabulous and if I feel even a BIT sympathy for Dutta it is only because of MR's acting, not really the character's projection...

I am so hooked on to Sasural Genda Phool these days that I've kinda become obsessed. LOL I had promised myself that I wouldn't be involved in ANY serial after the ruination of MJHT. And how here comes SGP with such a heart warming simple guy as the hero, and I am getting sucked into the vortex again...*rolls eyes* Waise, I admit that I DO have a thing for geeky guys. 😳 And the story too is very sweet. It is unfolding itself at a slow pace and somehow I feel I am okay with that! In days of instant gratification, it is kind of nice to see an old fashioned story telling technique with all rounded characters - not a series of make-ups, fall-trip-catch, break-ups et al.

Quoting an infamous old MR coffee ad featuring Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan in their pre-marriage days - "real pleasure doesn't come in an instant". 😉

LadyM, I have a weakness for geeky guys too. Is he cute too? lol, sorry, but these days I'm afraid to watch shows after catching the likes of chaprasi boy on TV! :P I swear I'm not a shallow person.

Agreed! I have lost my interest completely. I have no interest in watching any movies. I miss the old days when I would watch a trailer on TV, and I was eager to watch the movie. These days I find that I don't even care. I'm done with Bollywood and even Indian television. Tired of watching the main lead saint-like-girls that always have to CRY, and I don't even feel sorry for them anymore. It's hard to feel sorry for a lead character that has no spine, and doesn't make any effort to change their own life.

Road was okay. I wasn't very impressed, but I'm glad I chose it over MNIK, which wasn't my cup of tea at all.

I read the rant on Mahi, and while I don't watch the show. Unfortunately Mahi refusing to NOTICE Shiv's qualities is something that is common in a lot of girls these days. I have noticed a lot of girls mention that a guy is far too nice, which I find so hard to believe, because it's rare to catch a NICE genuine guy, who respects the girl!

A lot of times girls seem to be attracted to jerks, and they are fascinated with the idea of transforming a jerk. I'll never understand that because frankly if I have to settle down I'll always opt for a guy who respects me above everything, even if he is not that great looking I would rather have respect, than deal with someone good looking, but a complete jerk.

@GG: I understand what you mean about girls like Mahi existing in real life but honestly this character has now exceeded all tolerable limits of superficiality, brainlessness and hypocrisy.....she's just a loser obsessed with trashy romance novels....they aren't showing any more substance to her....what a waste of a show.
