Hey Anu!! :) That's awesome! She is always around that's why I'm surprised to see her missing. She is one dedicated member of this CC that shows up quite often unlike the others! :P So, what are you up to? I have to study for a final tomorrow, and I don't feel like studying, but I really should. Hmph.

LOL she hasn't been around much in the last 5-6 months either....pretty much everyone's out of action.

Thanks, Anu!!! :-) Confession: I do STALK your YT account occasionally to watch your favourite videos.. :P I am done on Friday (well Thursday night technically) after which my friends are going to hunt me down & I have no excuse. Why is that friends have to insist on celebrations? I HATE celebrations, especially my own birthday. I'm a hypocrite and will happily plan everything & surprise all my friends on their birthday, but I dislike all that on my own.

It feels really weird, because everyone is super nice to you, and you have to be super nice to them. And I'm just overwhelmed because everyone is looking at me, and all that attention/love is weird. Oh well. This year at least thank god I'm sitting here quietly on my birthday with the excuse of finals. It sounds crazy, but believe me I am so glad. Sorry that turned out into a rant. I can rant a lot more on this though!

I don't know sometimes I wonder how I will get married at this rate, because I always tell my parents max: 10 people to the wedding. And they look at me going: it is not your decision alone. The guy you will be getting married to has to decide as well...

Yeah, my parents had a huge wedding back then. I can't imagine people that I will never speak to nor message showing up at my wedding only to eat! Personally to me I think it should be only close people the few individuals in your life that you can really count on to stick with you through the good and the bad. And I say if someone can't stick with you during the bad times, then they have no right to be there during the good times.

LOL the only way to get that simple a wedding in a desi family structure is to elope, dude :P....if only things were so simple....but sadly they aren't.....whether you like it or not, you have to make some concessions to the fact that you are a part of a society....that's how it works.....unless you're living on your own island....lol

@ Anu - LMAO @ the k-soap comparison. The thought did strike me back when I read the seventh book. The 19 year leap was freakishly Kekta-ish. I was like, thank god there are no more books or else this would be like watching one of those never ending k-soaps.

However, now I think as long as JKR weaves a completely new story with the new gang and doesn't give too much footage to the original characters, it will be easy to remember the first series as one individual entity and this one as a spin off of sorts. Harry, Ron and Hermione can make cameo appearances when the kids go home for the summer, but that should be about it. I don't want the new series to focus on the same old stuff about Voldemort and his followers. It should have new villains, new professors and new adventures - with the basic setting/theme retained. That's my personal take on it ... lekin dekhte hain how it turns out, if the rumors are even true.

@ Sonia - So it's not a confirmed fact? I guess I should've checked. The HP forum had an article about JKR "announcing" the news last month so I thought it was official. 😕

Loved your rant about TV shows! I couldn't agree more - people who aren't willing to give these new concepts a chance simply because they prefer the same old saas-bahu crap are missing out on so much. Indian TV desperately needs to evolve. They have been stuck in the saas-bahu era for a decade now.

@ GG - Yikes, it happened at your university's library? That's awful. If it keeps happening, you should consider reporting it to the authorities.

LOL, I hate to say this but you'll be able to have a desi wedding with just ten people only when pigs start to fly. :P
