Yeah, okay, so the CV's are acting like complete 🤬. Let's not go there. Anyways, so Raaffeeeyy along with Shishir (boy 😆) here insisted that I write an OS featuring the half-naked Swayam and fabricate the story in a way that we all would have loved to see. That is without the absence of Sharon. So I dug deep into my soul to find that little 'phangurl' voice that helped me to write this OS. And I know Kanks, that you are going to give me major grief about this. I probably deserve it.
Shower Fiasco
Trrriiinnnggg!
He groaned loudly as his hand blindly made its way to where that cursed alarm clock had established itself for the past three years.
He stopped the incessant ringing and tried to go back to sleep, go back to that dream. But that infernal clock had ruined it all. He wondered what personal vendetta it had against him. Every morning at 7.00 a.m. sharp it would start with its annoyingly shrill ringing spoiling the beautiful dreams that regularly featured Sharon. All his Sharon-centered dreams shattered in a matter of seconds.
He reluctantly got up from the sweet, comfortable bed, his body covered in nothing but a pair of three-fourths and a translucent white shirt.
Barely opening his eyes, he headed towards his bathroom.
He saw his groggy reflection in the mirror and tried to shake away his sleep.
It didn't happen.
So he went for a more effective solution.
Without bothering to remove his clothes, he stepped straight into the shower chamber leaving the shower curtains half-open.
He unbuttoned his shirt but kept it on. He then turned the shower knob and lifted his face to feel the water pour itself on his face.
In a matter of minutes, he was fully drenched.
His wet hair clung to his forehead and thick droplets of water made their way down his bare chest. His wet shirt clung sensuously to his half-naked body and he proceeded to run a hand through his wet hair, making it stand up comically.
He stood there with his eyes closed as tiny droplets of water nestled themselves in his eyelashes and shamelessly hugged his lips. He was quite enjoying this refreshing little shower.
So you could imagine his surprise when he heard a barely audible gasp coming from somewhere dangerously close.
He jerked his head to the side to see a stunned looking Sharon in a sky-blue coloured dress with thin black straps, standing near the semi-opened door of the bathroom.
At first, understandably, he thought he was dreaming. How else would he explain her presence in his bathroom? He had hallucinated about her a lot of times before. Apparently it was one of the side-effects of love. So who's to say he wasn't dreaming again?
He looked at her (or the projection of her by his mind, he still wasn't sure) with complete astonishment. Which suddenly gave way to the silly smile that always plastered itself on his face whenever she, real or otherwise, would appear in front of him.
The first thing that tipped him off was that she wasn't smiling. Usually his dream-Sharon would smile a smile as silly as his. But this Sharon wasn't smiling. After the initial look of shock, her expression had now given way to a smirk. An uneasily, evil smirk. Dream-Sharon didn't smirk. She smiled.
Why the hell was she smirking?
The second it hit him, he instinctively grabbed the first thing that would shelter him from that evil-looking smirk. Which happened to be the shower curtain. He draped it around himself and with a panic-stricken look on his face, shouted-
"Sharon?!?"
Sharon, now completely over her shock, smirked even more demonically than was possible.
Oh this can't be good! He thought, his panic level soaring.
"How...wha...how did you come here?" he asked, his voice squeaking a little.
"Ehh, let me see. I knocked on the door of your house and Taani let me in. Then I walked up to your bedroom and the door was open so I walked in. But I couldn't find you anywhere, so I thought you must be in the bathroom since the bathroom door was open and now here I am." She said, still smirking.
"Can't you ask or knock before barging in like this?" he asked, frantically.
"Um I didn't think I needed to. Who takes a bath with the door wide open anyways?" she asked.
"I wasn't taking a bath!" he said, tightly clutching the shower curtain.
"Then what's got your tie in a knot?" she retorted.
"I...jus..just please can you go out?" he pleaded.
"Is that the way to talk to your girlfriend?" she said, mock offended.
"I'm sorry Sharon. I didn't mean to. I'm..." Swayam started.
"Gotcha!" she said, laughing crazily.
His face turned red.
"You've had your fun. Now could you please go out?" said Swayam, almost begging.
"Oh my naive Swayam, the fun's only begun!" she said, the smirk once again making an appearance on her face.
Yup. She was enjoying this. She was enjoying the hell out of this.
"Why do you insist on torturing me?" he asked miserably.
"Because I have the right to and because it's an awful lot of fun." She said, smiling angelically.
"Please Sharon, I'm feeling very uncomfortable." He said.
"That's because you are hiding behind that shower curtain!" she said.
"Well, what else do you expect me to do? You refuse to go away!" he cried.
"Who asked you to hide anyways? Just step away from that curtain and nobody gets hurt." She said, silently laughing.
"No way! Just go!" he said and then added, "Please?"
"I don't understand why you're shying away from me? I'm your girlfriend! If I don't have the right to see your half-naked body then who does?" she asked, grinning her way to glory.
"You're pure evil, you know that?" he said.
"And yet you love me." She said cheerily and at the same time going pink in the face.
He found no reasonable argument to that.
"Come out, come out Swayam. I haven't got all day!" she said, now moving towards him.
He noticed her movement with panic.
"Sharon, what are you doing? Don't come any more near!" he said, tightening his hold on the shower curtain.
"Well, if you won't come to me, I have to come to you, don't I?" she said, nearing dangerously close.
"Sharon, I'm warning you!" he said, moving further into the shower chamber.
But she just kept coming.
He took a sharp breath inside and decided that enough is enough.
He let go of the shower curtain as both of them were now confined in the restricted space of the shower chamber.
She stopped in her tracks and her pupils dilated so much that you couldn't make out the colour of her eyes.
A moment later she began retreating.
This was not what she expected to happen. She was just teasing him. She didn't actually mean to see him like this.
It's like her eyes were bounded by unbreakable chains. They seemed fixated with his semi-naked chest as the water from the shower dribbled down it. She admired his wet features as non-conservatively as possible. Her eyes now broke free and were travelling all over his body. They went up from his chest and now fixed themselves on his shining lips. And then his black, wet hair.
"Do you have any idea how you are looking at me right now?" he asked.
It was his turn to smirk now.
She snapped her eyes away from his body and looked into his eyes instead.
"Suddenly I feel extremely vulnerable." He continued.
"I...I...I...I'm go..." she stammered, turning around to leave.
"Oh, not so fast!" he said, grabbing her wrist and whisking her towards himself.
She bumped lightly into his chest and now both of them stood under the shower.
She looked up into his eyes and they more or less screamed at her that it was time for a little payback.
He neatly glided one of his arms around her waist and pulled her closer still. She instinctively flattened her palms against his bare chest. His other hand placed itself on her right hand pressing it against his jovially beating heart.
In under a minute, she was drenched too as droplets after droplets of water tangled in her hair before continuing their journey downwards.
His smirk grew as he saw her staring at him as if he was the most luscious looking fruit she had ever seen.
"What happened, Sharon? You got what you wanted. Why are YOU shying away now?" he said.
She just gazed mutely at him.
"What happened to the moustache twirling villain who was all set to steal my virtue not a few minutes ago?" he said, smiling.
"Swayam I..." she tried to speak but the words were lodged into her throat.
Evidently she had lost her power of speech.
"Sharon," he said, now turning extremely serious, "don't look at me like that. I won't be able to resist."
She stared deeper still into his eyes which were now looking hazily back at her.
He began to move his face closer to hers, taking his time, savouring the moment. He got not one word or action of resistance from her.
He squinted a little as his gaze fell on her lips and try as she might she couldn't bring herself to close her eyes, afraid that if she did she would miss this moment.
Her right palm, resting on his chest, felt the heart within thumping in excitement. A strange warmth had began exuding itself from his heart, right through his warm skin, that further made its way through her hand and into her very soul.
His lips had barely brushed hers when a loud shout caused them to spring apart like startled cats.
"Oi Swayam!" came a familiar booming voice, from his bedroom.
"Oh crap!" whispered Sharon as they both stood there panicking, unable to react.
A second later, the smiling face of Rey emerged through the bathroom door.
And just as quickly popped back out with an audible 'Oh'.
They rushed out behind him and asked him to stop.
"I'm sorry guys," he began, shaking with silent laughter, "don't mind me. Sorry for the interruption."
"This isn't what..."
"Actually..."
"It's a funny story..."
"You'd never guess..."
They both began searching for excuses that didn't sound lame.
"Its ok guys, I understand." Said Rey, waggling his eyebrows.
"Actually Rey, um, I'm the CS and he is the ACS, so um, I was helping him..." said Sharon, fabricating as she went along.
"To take a bath?" suggested Rey, now openly smirking.
"No! I...um...I have to go. Important meeting. Can't miss it. See you later." She said, saving herself, and giving Swayam a pitying look over her shoulder as she pranced out the door.
"Um...what happened was..." began Swayam, blushing his way to glory.
Rey looked encouragingly at him, raising an eyebrow and grinning a lot. But he couldn't complete his explanation.
"Idiot!" he muttered, shaking his head, giving a last final smile.
