Vinod Khanna passed away

i like Vinod Khanna, Rajesh Khanna, Dilip Kumar etc because my family are crazy of old movies and keep watching them always and i sometimes watch them too

70 is too young an age to leave the world behind ... RIP vinod Khanna Sirrr

I love Vinod Khannas song Rukh janaa nahi tu kahi har kee... not sure which movie but i have heard it a few times such an inspirational song

Aunty, Vinod Khanna must be an hero of your times when you were young.

Drought has devastated farmers in Maharashtra Karnataka Tamil Nadu etc for last 4-5 years

Like Dubai South India must set up plants to purify sea water and use it for agriculture and households

Else South India may turn to Sahara desert after few years

You would not believe hotels in Karnataka refusing to give drinking water if you order less food in hotel

All because of human greed - rampant tree felling and mining in western ghats and nilgiris region to expand roads and to build property

I am pretty sure in another decade half of south india(specially maharastra, karnataka, tamil nadu) will become desert only because of rampant destruction of rain forest and cuttting trees for flimsy reasons

And the population of these regions is growing like anything everyone from east and north india are shifting to south india for jobs, south india will collapse under immigration pressure as they have no resources for so many immigrants.

Even in 16th century shah jahan was camping south india and his writer wrote of terrible drought in south india. South india has very less water resources as they do not have himalayas and glaciers and are dependent on rain for water.

Ideally everone from south must have shifted to north india as water and food is rampant there but because reverse immigration is happening it will collapse in next decade.

In history if you see migration always takes place from less resource place to more natural resourceplace but revese in happening in india

Same here, I am into old movies too, thanks to my family AND my love (understatement!) for RD Burman's music. Shashi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, Vinod Mehra and Amitabh Bacchan have been my absolute favourites from the yesteryears!

Vinod Khanna had been suffering since some time now. There was this picture of his doing rounds in the social media recently, looking sickly frail due to dehydration.

And now he's no more. RIP.

Ruk Jana Nahi was from the movie Imtehaan. The entire movie was inspirational. Another awesome song from the movie was Roz Shaam Aati Thi by Lata Mangeshkar.

Okay so finally Vrish came and closed a thread! Good to hear that! Some action happening here on IF finally. Okay Avantika, I'll be honest here. The way most of you in the AT kept coming with one satirical barb after the other, one funny lampoon after the other, I knew this was waiting to happen. You can generally do all that in general threads or frustration threads or fun and satirical threads where you clarify that point in the begining itself so that those who are not like minded wisely stay off and not in an AT where you only appreciate if you have something. No criticism allowed only pure fangirling. Do you guys even imagine how offensive your lampoons on those ATs would have been to fans of the lead pair? I agree all of you were having a nice fun time together. But fans wouldn't be expecting such stuff in an AT either. So it would have sounded like blasphemy to them. That's why I generally don't frequent ATs as I usually do not have only positive things to say.
