What a warm and affectionate post, my dear Sarika! Thank you ever so much.

I drop in from time to time and respond to a few posts - I feel guilty when I don't- but my eyes get sore very soon when I am staring at the lighted screen. It is not so bad when I am reading a book. I think it must be related to the heat and the other eye condition I have that flares up periodically, and has now resurfaced after a remission of over a year. I am waiting for the rains!

I am glad you enjoy my posts, my dear, and rest assured that I never miss any of yours.

I too hope there will soon be something about which I can post analyses. Let us see.

Yes, my dear Joyee, he is the same person, Manoj Kolhatkar.

He was also in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, as Mahaamatya Khallatak, ironically one of the assassins of Chanakya in that show. It was a very sleazy character, which he played very competently. In short, a succession of bald headed roles!😉 Not Dadichi, of course.

yes Aunty just like kajal a little it will burn but its really effective BTW Aunty madras eyes is same as red eyes eye infection am I right but Aunty its so long you have it ,to me you seemed stressed with all the health issues we have to let go and try leaving it to Almighty I know its not easy to say but wish you speedy recovery and milk its very good too my mom know all this ghareli elaj

This is not just conjuncitivitis, which has been cured. I am afraid this will bore you, but I have a recurrent condition - not an infection- of the eyes called blepharitis - a nice imposing name!😉 The skin of the eyelids gets dry and flakes off into the eyes, the surface of which then gets sore. And the oil glands inside the eyelids are over active these days - apparently this comes with age - and so the oil they secrete also irritates the eyes. There are exercises to lessen the effect of these conditions and I do them regularly, but it is also very hot here now. I do not remember any summer in Pune which affected me so much.

There is nothing to be done with all this, my dear, just to grin and bear it, and hope the cooler weather helps. That is what I am doing!

Oh my sas has eye problem similar to that and it was painful no Aunty don't try the honey I thought it was sore red eyes .prayers hope hot days turns cooler soon and you feel a lot better

She has cataract and her eyes used to pain her a lot like how you described it was very dry and drs told her if she had surgery it will remain open even while she slept my mother was very soft hearted and she had beautiful eyes miss her a lot we spend few years together
