No, Anne, in TV serials, a jyotishi's prediction is sacred!😉 Roopa will escape from the palace after she is exposed and will eventually kill Nand, I expect, so that Chandra's hands do not have Nandini's pitamaharaj's blood on them.

I am already beginning to tire of this serial, and not even 100 episodes done yet! And if I have to see that blue and pink outfit of Nandini's/Roopa's any more, I shall start climbing the nearest wall.😡

OK, my discipline is slipping, which is not good. I am going to bed. Good night, folks.

Roopa exposed by this Friday? Can you see me doing bhangra? LOL.

As happy as i will be I dont think it might be that soon. Roopa is supposed to be Nand's doom. As per prediction. I always think that Nand might end up dying trying to save the wrong Nandini...hence the prediction coming true. However as various levels of memory loss is the common ailment of this serial...the prediction could be trashed and Roopa be stashed away.

I like Anne's theory - Nand will lose his life trying to save R ( whom he thinks as N ) and this can also be considered as cause and Jyotish's prediction can be considered as TRUE this way as well.

Only one thing left will be how will Roopa die ?

I think the serial is losing momentum and focus / clarity due to a need for high voltage drama which has nose dived badly.

Aunty, I perfectly agree with you. I see why the story cannot go on successfully moving in circles. One it successfully eats up a lot of screen time without inching the story one bit nearer to its supposed haven or destination, creates drama (or rather melodrama), gives an opportunity to everyone right from the leads to the Most Menial Maid in Magadh the opportunity to cry buckets without a reason, brings in the TRPs? Just because a few of us in this forum and on your thread dislike it (me included), it is no benchmark for the standard or levels of what clicks with Indian audiences. Kunkum Bhagya goes round and round, but still it is in the Top 10. Naagin and Brahmaraakshas rule the charts. Udaan flies high in the sky. CN was never so bad that way. If I was a CV, I would have dished out the same stuff I have listed, and this despite the fact that I am capable of much better as an Author. I too expect the CVs have more potential and are capable of much better than the stuff we usually get on the show. The war track, the Takshashila track, the Patalgram track are all good examples of that. But even CVs are answerable to TRPs. They have to produce results and fast enough. Nobody talks or argues when it is big bucks at stake. A hit is a hit, and a flop is a flop. JA was a hit even though I never liked it so much as CN.

Very neat theory, but it won't work. Roopa will be exposed as a fraud the minute she holds one of Nandini's pustakein upside down or tosses them about. The problem really is that Roopa has not been shown as a smooth, devilish schemer, but as a wild creature to begin with and as a nearly demented one now. She will not last a day in close proximity with Chandra.

The big disappointment for me today was the closing Chandra-Nandini scene. It was overdone and literally soggy with all that weeping. Why does Nandini have to urge him to cry when he was already doing it, blubbering all over the place and declaring himself a durbal king because his sister fell down a staircase and went into a coma? Is this going to be the touchstone for deciding who is a strong king? 😡

Even Rajat could not save that fully 6 minute scene. One could not make out even half of what he was saying, and whatever appeal was left in it was washed away by the concluding 15 seconds with both making the momentous discovery that Chandra has a hriday after all. Ugh..😡

Durdhara is now officially demented. Good. It is always preferable to have things made official. What a pity she cannot be bumped off soon!

Going by mayyas theory if rupa is bumped off shell appear as ghost and we know mayya loves ghost 😆
This whole think about nand rupa winash is too much to believe had he raised her it would be different ,but andh vishwas is his doom and he bring it on all on himself andwhy su all of a sudden thinking About punishment or death sentence pehle se sochna tha madam
Rupa issheer horror and i think dur saw her
That scene was ok between cn but i think jalal did better and ridhai is old as basi chawal

Well shaillu ja had lotsof flaws but it worked and the problem withcntoo much browed from ja and that is the big problem cvs needs to get over it and bring more freshness into it like takshilla track that mm track was too delightful
And that dil ridhai is just too unbearable i hated it on ja and in cn it doesn't make sense because to me chandra is more humble than anything else

It was horrible Sri. Rajat overdid the crying scene that he ended up like Moaning Myrtle.😡 Just like he was sub-par crying during Mahaam's death.

And his tears were the blue litmus test of the existence of his dil???😡 Then how many times has he cried already in the show??? He wept when he met his mother. He wept when Acharya was angry with him for ordering Dhananand's execution. He has been weepy on many occasions so far. And why this sudden enlightenment today!😲😡

But Durdhara's reaction today is because she somehow has seen the very last portion of R pushing Chaaya from one of the pillars , I think.
But why she does not scream or get N to be caught immediately is another blooper.

She must have seen Roopa push Chaya. But why didn't she try to save Chaya? Why did she just run away!😔

And finally Daadi did feel for someone other than her sweetheart Nandini. 😔

Roopa fulfills Chanakya's shapath and not his trained student?? Wasn't it Chandragupta Maurya who actually killed the evil Nand??? I wish Roopa is an indirect means of Nand's death and not the direct cause.😔

Well, I was reading something else in Foreign Policy magazine and this e-mail pops up again!

The historical Dhananand (NOT his father Maha Padmanand as shown here) was not killed by Chandragupta. He was allowed to go into exile. And in the serial, the fact that Chandra did not kill him was all Chanakya's fault, not Chandra's.

I am glad you are of the same opinion as I am about that awful ending scene tonight. See my post on prepage. And now I am really going to bed.

But see, Shailaja dear, this tripe is NOT bringing in the TRPs either! Every serial comes with its bhagya (not Kumkum bhagya!) and this show has a mediocre one, that is all. Good night!

Today Daadi went into a faint that was short lived for 3 seconds only. Khushi must be greatly disappointed.
