This is a beautiful stanza by Kamban in the Ramayana epic, when he says about Rama and Sita's first look at each other.
Meaning,
Their eyes grab each other's and devour..(and).. their feelings merge ..
The Lord looked at her, she also looked at him!

(There is no need for any conversation here...)

[ How is Rama very sure that the girl he saw would be an unmarried one? He consoles himself, " Just because my heart went towards her, she must have been unmarried.."]
Thiruvalluvar goes one step further when he says,

"KaNNodu KanniNai Noakkokkin
Vaichchol anna payanila.."
That is,
"If their eyes can convey a perfect understanding when they( the lovers) look at each other,
Where is the need for words?"

S. Akka.

This is so so so beautiful!

This,Akka, is a peach of a joke!👏 Of course it is really western in concept, for in India, the mother in law places her jamai ahead of all the rest of the family!

Of Chandra's three MILs, all of them namoonas, I think Aapama is still the most dangerous. But Sunanda would run her a close second. I suppose she wants to use Roopa to bump Chandra off, but in the meantime, where would she have tucked Nandini away?

Shyamala,
An old joke..
" What is the punishment for bigamy?"
"Two mothers-in-law!"
Here ,
"What is the punishment for 'tri'gamy?"
"Three mothers-in-law!"
One by Helena, two by Nandini!

Roopa, Nandini's presumably evil twin, has been imported into the Pataliputra palace by Sunanda, her existence being the Secret No.1 that had Nand on tenterhooks to know it. Sunanda has already been looking on with visible disapproval at Nandini rejoicing in Chandra's return from near death. So she must have brought in this twin to disrupt the budding Nandini-Chandra relationship.

Helena is invoking the dark spirits, surely on Aapama's advice, to make Chandra fall in love with her.She boasts to Nandini about her success in this respect, and when Nandini says she can keep her husband as she is not interested in him, an altercation ensues and Nandini slaps a shellshocked Helena good and proper.

Voila! Roopa unveiled!😉 I regarded it with great dismay. Who wants this creature and her villainy so soon? Or at all?

Shyamala Aunty

Thanks for the Written Update Aunty😃
& I am sure we are not going to see any of the promo scenes in the near future except for Roopa Entry😉All CN Promos, be it ORIGINAL hamam promo or Nand attack promo baring haldi one, were shot separately & they are often misleading 😆

Shyamala,

In many old Hindi/Tamil movies the twin will be substituted for the other one, especially in the latter's in-law's house, either to correct the evil MIL or to teach a lesson to the husband. The funny, and not so funny embarrassing situations form the story, to the delight of the Director.

Oh yes, Akka, Hema Malini in Seeta aur Geeta being the classic example! I used to love it when Geeta beat up the wicked aunt and horsewhipped her evil son!😆
