Going to start off with expressing my fear/disappointment first

The one thing I can't stomach about this show is that Chandra has fallen for Nandini even when he's going to have a baby with another woman.

Then, I'm afraid that you're going to be down with a severe case of acidity, flatulence & indigestion, if you continue to watch Chandra Nandini with this radically feminist 21st century lens, forgetting that this is a show set in the 4th century BC, when polygyny was rampant.

I personally would be let down if Nandini falls for him and also has her first time with him then adopts his baby. I've seen that many times where the lead female takes care of the lead make's children (even if she didn't give birth to them) and NEVER where she was already a mother to someone else kids.

Then CN is definitely NOT the show for you, my friend...Coz that is exactly what is gonna happen here, & frankly, it's no state secret either 😆

It's like a rule that the lead male has to have a virginal wife and I'm sick of that.

A show set in the 4th century BC, that too revolving around an emperor, could easily show the male lead having multiple virginal wives...*burp* 😉😆

I wish Nandini was someone elses wife first and was in love with him. Then that will be Star Plus' Nayi Soch.

If Chandra could love a widow and a mother then I would respect him. If he can adopt Nandini's children as his own then Hats off to that man.

Also I feel it's not fair on the pregnant wife. She's being denied romantic love and just used to pop out an heir.

I think the pregnant wife here seems to be in a far too blissful state than we could imagine...😆...There never was any romance between C & D , n both seem to be comfortable with this scenario...

As far as "being used to pop out an heir" is concerned, I think in those days, it was considered quite an honour to be the first in this "race" of ..."Pop pop pop" 😆

Yeah, you're right about one thing. I might just give up on this show. They've destroyed Nandini's character in today's epi.

But I realise, having a "radical feminist view" is not common here so it's the right thing to carry on. We can't have one minded folks in all communities now can we?
