Chapter 19:
Siddharth couldn't fall asleep, he kept on thinking about Afreen, and was she alright?
He somehow wanted to see her, make sure that she's all fine.
He peeked outside his bedroom, making sure everybody were asleep, then tiptoed to the front door, grabbing his cycle and rushing off.

Afreen rolled over on her bed. She couldn't fall asleep, no matter how hard she tried.
She closed her eyes once more, when she heard a tap on her window.
She turned around alarmed by the sound, grabbing her umbrella and slowly approaching her window.
She peeked out, only to find a familiar figure standing outside, chucking small pebbles in order to draw her attention.
A: Siddharth!
Afreen nearly screamed, but settled down.
S: Haan mein, woh... mein... tum... how are you feeling now?
Afreen smiled.
A: I'm fine
She looked left and right, before signalling him to wait, and tiptoe to her front door.
A: Tum kaise ho
S: I'm fine
A: Waise... mujhe tum se kuch kahe na hai
S: Haan, toh bolo
A: Hmmm, T-t-thank you
S: No problem Afreen
A: Accha, phir school mein milte hai
S: Okay
A: Bye
S: Bye
Just as Siddharth was about to turn around, Afreen leaned in and gave him a peck on the cheek. Siddharth, who was surprised by the kiss, looked at her.
Afreen blushed a deep red.
A: Thank you
With that, she rushed inside, closing the door in process.
Siddharth stood there with a small smile.
Of course he has been kissed on the cheek by many girls; but why did this one feel so different. So amazing. So incredible. He looked up towards Afreen's window, where she stood, smiling down at him.
He began stepping backwards, his eyes still glued to hers, when he felt himself bump into his vehicle, making him jump slightly. He looked back up, only to see Afreen giggle at his clumsiness.
He waved at her, then took off.
Afreen turned back towards her bed. Now she knew the secret to falling asleep...
BEEP BEEP BEEP!
Siddharth smacked his alarm, burying his face into his pillow.
Abhi: Wake up sleepy head
Siddharth looked up to see his older brother leaning over him, wearing his uniform.
S: Huh?
Abhi: Time for School Sid!
He flipped Siddharth's blanket over, making him groan.
He trudged towards the bathroom, took a quick shower, and was about to brush his hair when he saw the time. Five minutes to get to school.
He grabbed his bag and ran out the front door towards his cycle.
Afreen looked towards the door. 'Where is he?' She thought to herself.
She checked her watch and saw that in two minutes the school was going to start. Just then she saw a boy, with his uniform in a mess, run in.
He sighed, panting slightly.
Afreen smiled, she didn't quite know why.
She saw Siddharth look over at her, giving her a warm smile.
She smiled back at him, then he came at sat next to her.
A: Overslept?
Siddharth looked over at her, his eyes sparkling.
S: Last night ke effects
Afreen found herself blushing as she remembered the kiss that took place.
Although, even within that blush, she felt her lips curve into a smile.
Last two lessons:
Tea: Okay Class, today we will be planning out our scripts and design our costumes. You have the rest of the two lessons to do so. You may get into your groups.
Instantly, the class jumped up, running towards their groups.
Afreen giggled at the teacher sighing.
She got up and went to join the rest of the gang.
S: Mein aur Afreen library mein hoge, research karte ve.
M: Okay, Ma'am se puch lo
Afreen saw Siddharth walk over to the teacher, asking her something to which the teacher hesitated but nodded.
Then she saw him run upto her, grab her hand and pull her out of the classroom.
A: Siddharth! Hum Kaha jaarehe?
S: Woh Library ko, thodi research karne
A: Accha, aur Ma'am ne allow bhi kardiya?
S: Haan! Woh tum ek "bright" student ho toh unho ne allow kiya.
A: Thikhe phir, chalo!
And within seconds Afreen was dragging Siddharth towards the school library.
As they reached their, they went over to the section of history. Scanning the rows of books with their eyes.
Eventually, they found a whole book on the biography of Ashoka, they settled down and began taking notes.
Unknown of how much time has passed, Siddharth and Afreen felt they should head back to the class. They packed up their books and notes, and headed towards the door. They noticed that the lights had dimmed alot.
Siddharth yawned, walking over to scan the books to take out, when they saw that no one was at the desk.
S: Hello!?
A: Hmmm, let's go to class Siddharth.
S: Okay
They left the books on the counter and went towards the door.
Siddharth yawned once again and pulled the door. Nothing. He shook his head and tried again. Still nothing.
He looked over at Afreen, who was reading the notes.
S: A-A-Afreen...
Afreen looked up.
A: Haan?
S: The door... it's locked...
A: Kya!?
She dropped all the papers and ran towards the door, pulling it hard.
A: No way!
Siddharth pulled out his phone and gasped.
S: Afreen, six thirty!
Afreen felt her heart leap out of her. She stumbled slightly.
A: What!?
S: Haan... were locked in the Library...
