Na i avoid all historical show tried catching one episode of Ashoka and was friustrated it is bad

I never believe lot of crap there in Wikipedia but in net also there are good research papers and authentic sources ,
But I read lot of books but this is a good thread.

Mir is a name and such names were prevalent before Islam

Thanks for this thread!! I have been following the show for some time and this is the first time I am posting something on this forum.I have a few questions in mind and I would love it if they were answered.

I belong to Odisha which is modern day Kalinga so my first question is related to it,Are Karuvaki and Rani Padmavati the same person?As much as I have read,Karuvaki was a fisherwoman.I can't really trust wikipedia.And what about the Queen Edict?

Second,Bindusara was known to be partial to Susima and he disliked Ashoka.Even Ashoka's mother was not given much preference by him.But in the show its all so confusing.

And the third thing in my mind is not a question but a sincere fear.In Maharana Pratap,they portrayed the Mughal Emperor Akbar as a villain.He was not as bad as they have portrayed him.What if in this show they portray Kalinga in negative light?

PS:I hope that I am not hurting anyone.These were just a few doubts that I had in mind.
