If you haven’t read Manacled yet, I would highly recommend this! It was my first Dramione fic and since then been on the lookout for more of the same. I’ve got the Auction, Secrets and Masks, the lady of the lake and green light on my list to read yet.

HP is really not about the romantic ships for me - haven’t ever read an HP romantic FF, this will be my first (if I get around to finishing it - it’s too darn long )

Hey, can you guys not put down the number of pages in the sheet until you actually finish (or DNF) the book? It throws off the total page counts tally. It’s ok to include the titles of the books you’re reading but add the pages only when you finish them!

@Red Because of the actors' friendship / chemistry (and Emma Watson actually admitting to having had a crush on Tom Felton).

I'm not a fan of the actors' relationships / mannerisms / behavior patterns bleeding into their characters beyond a certain extent... especially when the characters are already well-defined (through the books)... so not a fan of Dramione or the plenty of other ships in HP fandom. And with the advent of Dumbledore / Weasley bashing to make the canonically gray characters seem better, I've almost given up on HP fanfiction.

Nonetheless, If anyone has any HP fic recs that stay (mostly) true to the canon characterizations, please do share . Ships are not necessary (but not a problem either)... just as long as there is no bashing / glorification of any characters.
