Comments on IFFA awards here

Most of you must have watched the IFFA today.you could post your comments right here.I thought overall it was good.here are some things I noticed

Aishwarya has such fake laughter that she has completely forgotten when to laugh/giggle genuinely and when not.I htought abhishek was not joking when he told her it was not so funny.

looked like a bachchan show in majority-abhishek getting the style award(or whatever it was).for which movie yaar.he needs to improve his appearance drastically.his eyes are always red-god knows why?

Boman Irani and Ritesh deshmukh was good-i thoroughly enjoyed their jokes and performance.

The awards were edited so badly that everytime any one was on stage they showed the same clip of Jaya bachchan,twinkle khanna,Saif,Priyanka.I mean they cannot be cheering for everyone and anyone and have same expression and laughter.

Whenever Viveik Oberoi was on stage performing or giving away an award-normally we would think all cameras would be on aish.maybe it was edited cause senior bachchan is the iFFA ambasssador.Not even once did the camera show aishwarya when vivek was on stage or salman khan's clip from partner was shown.

I haven't seen it,but after reading this about the editing not sure,if I really wanna see them anymore, 😆 I used to love the iifa's but ever since no ones coming to them anymore I don't like them anymore.

only thing i watched it for was Aki's performance and it was the best.... 😳 👏

What I liked:

I liked Boman-Ritesh. Much better than a so-called 'classiest' award ceremony duo host. The spoofs of the 'top' films of the year were hilarious, especially 'Matro' 😆 , Taare Zameen Par (Ritesh's imitation of Aamir was 😆 and then Toffee with Darsheel (😆😆) the director of this film is 'Amole.....' and then Ritesh covered Boman's mouth 😆 😆, Jab They Left Tab We Met 😆 😆 (especially Kareena's reaction, 😉 ), released everywhere except Bhatinda. 😆 . OSO one wasnt too funny (the interactions b/w Boman and Ritesh i.e. the gay joke has become overused and not funny anymore). But the funniest was Chauke De! India! hahahaha 😆 and Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo re and the girls shirts said Cheque De. 😆

The performances were ok too. Govinda doing DardEDisco was a bit funny... but I like his movie performances better, stuff like do you wanna partner.
The mission Istanbul stuff was ok-ok too...
Kareena's pefromance has become standard.. in all the award ceremonies she danced, same steps etc.. boring
Best was Akshay Kumar, Singh is King! 😆 😃

The award were ok i Guess, the best style icon is Abhi 😕 For lookin bad in JBJ and most of the clips of his style icon were taken from Bluffmaster 😕.

Oh and spoof of Sarkar Raj was hilarious 😆😆 especially the new actor is Govinda Govinda Govinda Govinda! 😆

What I didn't like

Editing was crap as usual. Every single media ppl reported that Saif walked in just for last 15 mins, yet they showed the SAME clip of him clapping for all throughout the awards show! Oh and why didnt they focus on Ash when Vivek won award and was on stage??? not fair, not fair! 😆 😉 For kareena's performance one camera was on Saif and one was on Kareena! 😕😆

The three images guess the name of actor thing. The Boman Irani one was a lil witty(Bow+Man+AroonaIrani) but the Twinkle one (akshay+Akshay+Akshay) is Rajiv Bhatia 😕 ok...

Hmm. I didnt like Katrina's performance much either

Where was the best acting award for Abhi Ash??? So was that made up then? 😕 Or did I miss it? 😕

i havent seen the whole show in detail
but i found it boring
n i have to agree the editing was really bad
i also find it annoying that ppl dont show up to award shows
ok fine aamir is a no show always
but why not the rest of ppl
i guess there r too many award shows to attend (iifa, filmfare, zee cine, startdust etc.)
i think also that shows should be held in india so its more accesible to ppl n they dont have to travel to bangkok or london or wherever.....

editing was dumb....not just in IIFA but for all of the award shows this year!! 🤢

Adding to the chorus, what kept me watching were Boman and Ritesh. They were funny and heck I wish they hosted every award show. Boman Irani is kinda the Parsi dad I wish I had. That sounds weird, but I find him endearing even when he plays a villainous character. And Akki killed in his performance. Other than that there was not much else worth mentioning.

it was edited so much. same whistle akki blew for katrina's performance,priyanka's and kareenas. Also same scene with saif because he looked like he had been there the whole time but it was the same pose over and over. The clapping was also edited. What I found strange is when katreena was performing, he blew a whistle but when he was performing, she did not even have a smile on her face. she looked so sad or upset. Maybe it was edited. i dunno. but now I see why all the other stars did not show up. It was a Bachan family show basically with a few major stars who got paid to perform.
