The editing was pretty bad...they actually cut almost half of the show out. I know because I was at IIFA this year and they cut parts of peoples speeches like crazy. Akshay Kumar's global warming speech was awesome...he even had an ice cream with him that melted as he talked to show how the ice caps are melting around the world and he even gave tips as to how we can each help and they never showed any of that. The cut parts of Riteish's and Boman's hosting as well! I was surprised to see how much they actually cut out! 😕

Oh wow! I really wished they would have left those parts in. Riteish and Boman were a blast. And I am sure Akki's speech on global warming would have been worth a watch.😭

They were BORING except for Akshay's performance. Also, it was OBVIOUS who was going to get awards. 😛

boman and ritiesh were awesome. i would pick these two over srk and saif's lame hosting any day.

One of the worst award night cheap and senseless i think filmfare the best of 2008.

I felt That Akki's Sing is Kinng promotion was too agressive! I felt that he was trying to make a point.It was so long and I felt a bit intimidated.

I kept switching toMaine pyar kyon kiya..just couldnt stop staring at Katrina-she looked like an angel.but the Katrina at IIFA was so different..Well she was ill !

I dont see Harman becoming popular star.No charm,appeal or warmth there.

Boman and Riteish were the only reason I watched the show now and then.

Bachchans should take a break from their public appearances together.I don't think we can stomach anymore!

i've only watched kat's performance so far. man.. what a performance yaar!👏👏 her dancing seems to have improved quite a bit & she looked absolutely stunning! you couldn't even tell she was ill from this performance. it was cute how akshay was whistling for her & even twinkle whom some reports say dislikes katrina was clapping for her so enthusiastically at the end of her performance.😛 i don't know if it was the editing but it was rather nice to see only smiling faces during kat's performance.

kareena & aishwarya looked gorgeous! saifu looked hot. loved his shades!
