Do you seriously think she was dropped from the film just for requesting an 8-hour workday? That’s absurd. Vanga may be acting foolishly by going after everyone who criticizes him, but Deepika and her PR team are no better.

Deepika is known for nasty PR but Vanga is not known for being a nasty person that you automatically defend him?? He doesn't just hate and demean Deepika - he hates and demeans all women.

And yeah, I totally believe that he wouldn't want to let the actress have an 8 hour day because it would mean having to schedule things around her. He doesn't value her or any woman to craft a schedule that takes her needs into account first. He wants the actress to sit around on set wasting time while he works around Prabhas and calls her when needed. It's his choice and he's allowed to do what he wants but look at him going crazy and acting entitled - how DARE the actress even ask for such a thing. He always had the option to say no and go for someone else but he's mad mad mad that she could even ASK for such a thing. Now he's using it to rile up his trashy fan bots to stir up publicity for his movie.

He even played the proud regional language card by claiming she doesn't want to speak Telugu to get that state foaming at the mouth.

I don't even think Deepika deserves huge money or anything but why is he so mad about even being ASKED?? Say no and go away. It's not that hard. Throwing tantrums publicly shows what he's really about.

I agree but DP does not have the market like RK. When was the last time she gave hit with meaty role? Her last 2 movies were multi-starter movies. One was Hindi and the other one was Telugu. Before that, she did flowerpot roles in Fighter and Pathaan. Pathan was hit due to SRK and Fighter was flop. In Jawan, she had a special appearance. Chhapaak and Gehraiyaan both flopped, where she had meaty roles. I don’t know anything about this guy Vanga but I don’t think his movie will have any impact by dropping DP and replacing her with another actress. Not only in Bollywood but on other professions too, the company or the cooperate will fulfill the demands of the people that can make impact on the company, not on the people that has no impact on the company. DP mostly survived by her looks, glamorous, PR and relationships but after sometime, it won’t work anymore. Right now, there are many actresses that can replace DP so easily.

Cleavage controversy happened right before HNY release when maharani randomly picked up more than a year ago's article commenting on her outfit / cleavage and threw a whole fit..it received widespread backlash and Shah and Farah tried their best to do massive damage control.

Yeah Deepika harassed Vanga by starting PR games which called her unprofessional for walking out and involved leaking her demands. Please be less obtuse in your hate. The moment you all see Deepika mentioned you are out guns blazing always siding with whoever she is pitted against even if that may be the devil himself. Pathetic.

I don't care about Vanga at all. But in all this drama, the 8-hour request seems unbelievable to me — no matter how often Deepika’s PR team or her fans tries to convince everyone otherwise.

Vanga might be a nasty person , but if he has a problem with something or somebody, he's direct unlike Deepika (who we've seen in the past with her many vile PR articles targeting other actresses - "busy playing mother", or her latest against a poor Newcomer)

Yes it is a problem if an established, female star with 18 years in the industry even dares to ask for more money. Prabhas actually deserves it, if he asks for more money, but RK, seriously? He asks for anything then it is fine, but his ex girl friends are trash even though they are somewhat as successful as he is.

That is the thing, in some other thread his fans were taunting Hrithik, like WTH are these blind fans smoking, RK literally bankrupted KJO, and they think his market value is like Tom Cruise

Deepika is an established actress, if she asks for more money there is nothing wrong, atleast she never gave disasters like Bombay Velvet ever with a team like Anurag Kashyap, Anushka and KJO himself

Vanga technically does not need either RK or Deepika, but RK fans worshipping Vanga is so funny, recently T-series said that Animal was a big hit due to Vanga

Then why was the 8 hour shift thing on top of the the leaked list of Deepika’s demands? That didn’t come from Deepika. That came from Vanga’s PR. Vanga started this PR war and drama. He’s just backtracking now because his PR game didn’t work so both he and all the Deepika haters on the internet now are moving the goalpost and pretending that the 8 hour shift wasn’t an issue

Deepika doesn’t deserve 30crores? OK. Does Prabhas deserve 150 crores that he’s getting?

Come on!! Vanga is just throwing a tantrum because a woman dared to say no to him and walk out on him. I’m just surprised that some people hate Deepika so much that they’re defending Vanga of all people. Yea I mean that right there should be the end of this discussion. But he has problem with everybody who doesn't agree with his views. We have heard that enough during KS & Animal promotions or even later. It's not like he could graciously accept or ignore any criticism.

Deepika is shrewd and cunning. No doubt. But Vanga is worse & it is him who started this.
