God knows I'm no Deepika fan but why do you believe every single thing that a known hateful misogynist is spamming everywhere through his PR team and nothing from Deepika's side?

And even if Deepika made those demands, what's the issue? Isn't that the point of negotiations? Each side puts forward what they want - if you can't agree to it, that's fine. Just shake hands and away. She is allowed to ask and they are allowed to say no. Walk away and you're done.

The problem started when Vanga attacked Deepika publicly and spread all this stuff including how she wouldn't speak Telugu. Does that even make sense? Nobody would say that if they are negotiating for a Telugu movie in the first place.

Why is the goalpost being moved now? When Vanga started this PR fight by leaking Deepika’s demands, the top demand was an 8 hour shift. Vanga’s side even added the extra note of saying it will actually be 6 hours of shoot because hair and make up I’m assuming. But now that someone else has said an 8 hour shift is reasonable suddenly the problem was Deepika asking for 30 crores? If Prabhas can get 150 crores why can’t Deepika just get 30?

Kajol was about to make light of sensitive issue, and Ajay just took over since he is also a producer in this industry. I loved how he said any "honest" filmmaker would work with those hours.

Btw didn't Ranbir demand same things with SLB before starting love and war, 8 hrs , set schedule.. i guess its only a problem if female especially Deepika demands it. She is the official punching bag for some.

Oh first it was 20 crores, then it changed to 40 crores and now new number for the day is 30 crores!! See whose story keeps changing daily

Because Deepika is known for her nasty PR and that was also confirmed by other actresses.

Do you seriously think she was dropped from the film just for requesting an 8-hour workday? That’s absurd. Vanga may be acting foolishly by going after everyone who criticizes him, but Deepika and her PR team are no better.

She's just mad because Vanga beat her at her own game.

I think there is more to the video, I meant they did not directly name anyone but saying than honest film making can be realistic even for 8h shifts is a way to say that asking for bound shifts for new mothers is not a bad thing.

Vanga kicking dp out is not because of this 8 hour shift that her PR is using to gain sympathy..it is because of the harrassment dp and her team were causing the makers and the director. She was demanding 20cr or above when clearly she does not deserve it..she does not have a single hit she carried on her own shoulders..she also demanded profit share..she demanded extra money on top of that 20cr if shoot exceeds 100 days..and refused to dub dialogues in tamil..the list is endless and it seems unreasonable considering she barely is a crowd puller.

I know and I can see where this is going..new moms..toxic work culture..no respect for new moms..no time flexibility..her PR is going to use this but clearly that is not the case here

Cleavage controversy happened right before HNY release when maharani randomly picked up more than a year ago's article commenting on her outfit / cleavage and threw a whole fit..it received widespread backlash and Shah and Farah tried their best to do massive damage control.
