Agreed, but KJo did feel sense of power by controlling/ dictating someone's life ( Alia- Ranbir). I assume he wanted to do that with Suhana but SRK didn't allow. Same with Aryan.

On ruining Dharma that's his own fault, he got carried away thinking he has magical powers to turn thrash into royalty.

Alia's downfall has started, be it her movies, relationships or popularity.

KJo & Dharma Is Finished....

1. Bombing of Bhramashtra in the box office was the start of the production houses downfall. Expecting it to surpass collection of Bahubaali was too tall order to meet. It is reported he bought more than 40-50 Cr. Rupees tickets in initial days to fool public but it failed miserably. Its actually revenue from BO is terrible.

2. Series of flops one after another ; Gehraiyaan, Jug Jug Jeeo, Liger, Govinda Naam, Selfie, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, Bad Newzz.... the list goes on and on.

3. Karma: His bitchy nature and ganging up against every new outsider talent be It Kangana, Sushant or Kartik has finally came back to bite him. Today even its own friends have deserted him. During recent production of "Kill" he tried every actor from Varun, Tiger, Siddhartha, etc each of them rejected to play the role.

4. Revenue not matching price: He was the one who spiked the actors price during hay days of OTT, Satellite, Overseas rights.

Today OTT buys movies at 1/10 of price which they were paying before pandemic. That too after checking its ACTUAL BOXOFFICE numbers post theater release.

People have almost forgotten to watch movies on TV in tier-1&2 cities. So advertisers have switched away from satellite channels to social media for their promotions. So Satellite also pays 1/10th for a movie what they were paying before.

Now, he is crying actors price is too high for any maker to make any profit from the movie. He was the first person to hike the price of actors, pamper and spoil them in the first place.

5. Biggest and most important factor for him to fail is POOR selection of SCRIPT, DIRECTOR and ACTORS. Casting Alia for "Jigra" was not the right decision. Even passing such crappy script for Jigra was not right.

If Jio buys it and hires some good people in script, casting and production department then the company might turn around.

If not Alia then who?

When this movie was announced, had felt will a female fighting and saving brother work? Because our society wants male hero. This is a big mental block in our society.

Now Alpha also on same lines. Let's see...

KJo sold majority stake, because that was required to cover his debts. If he sold it for 600 crores..that must be close to his debt.

Dharma is a conglomerate. Only a part and/or section of it was sold.
