Great the movie is a classic !! And it’s better then some new releases

The AAA rerelease gives the feeling of watching a TV movie on the big screen. Felt the same with a few 90s Aamir movies, which were rereleased for his birthday. It would be the issue with any old movie (90s and before). The entire soundtrack (songs and BGM) has to be reworked. The content is not the issue.

As far as Salman is concerned, his Tere Naam re-release should be huge, if given a well planned release.

I don't think so this is the case else many multistarrers of Salman would not have worked like Saajan, Jeet, Hssh, Mskg, Partner etc

Saajan was more of Sanjay Dutt film, he was at the top of his game. he was far far ahead of Salman at that time

I watched and still watch it for Salman Khan. I didn’t even know who Sanjay was. Sanjay looked like every bit of a drug addict that he was at that period. Zero appeal!

They enhanced the sound to Dolby digital and the print to a true 4k.

Also included title song Shola Shola in the background of its opening credits.

Sanjay himself said that Saajan worked because of the craze for Sallu at the time.

This is absolutely wrong piece of information.

Sunjay had a long bad patch of career that time while Salman had a string of consecutive superhits before Saajan' release... Maine Pyar Kiya, Baaghi, Sanam Bewafa and a semi hit Patthar Ke Phool & Kurbaan...basically no film of Salman has flopped since his debut and he was one of the biggest rising superstar at the time of release of Saajan.

Sunjay's bad patch ended only with the releases of Saajan and Sadak and he got his career back on track.

Both Salman and Sunjay had utmost equal roles with Sunjay just getting the girl at the end that too due to Salman's sacrifice..... Even the title song of the film "Dekha hai pehli baar Saajan ki aankhon may Pyar" was shot on Salman...

It's just the sympathy factor which earned Sunjay more points due to his physically disabled character in the movie.

saajan is only memorable because of salman, and his chemistry with Madhuri and his chemistry with Sanjay dutt and with all the other actors in the film. and the Nadeem shravan music

I watch it for madhuri & salman. What a chemistry they had together,they look amazing together❤️. How handsome Salman was. The songs are gem i still have the playlist

I don't like love triangles but wow the songs & salman-madhuri pair was gorgeous and of course salman-spb magic they are soulmates of singer-actor pair. Everyone knows its SPB he sang most for Salman only

Sanjay character was little bit dull to me even though he looks handsome & amazing in his character

Saajan its Salman-Madhuri for me even though they did not end up together

I love that scene in the end when salman hands over madhuri to sanjay and he leaves. He was walking towards the entrance and at the background sanjay-madhuri hug. The fraction his changed expression he was hurt his heart is broken as he too loves her deep in his heart but that smile on his face when he express his happiness for his friend and the end credit. That scene was beautifully written & shot and salman gave life to that scene. Such a beautiful memorable scene with of course the tu shayar hai as bgm music

I wanted salman-madhuri to end up but than it was a logical ending that she always loved the poet Sagar & it was sanjay and salman did what he had to do for his best friend who means the heaven universe & earth to him. His friendship was more important than his broken heart
