Sarileru Neekevvaru I saw this movie in 2020 in the theaters with mahesh and rashmika mandanna this was a 2 month before Covid hit and later in march we had the lockdown. My point is this star like allu n some others are popular but the movie made no sense but it was a huge hit.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Does Better In Mass Pockets

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan has done well in certain mass pockets but has not not performed well in the metro cities with the exception of Hyderabad which is better but this centre does not actually behave like a Mumbai or Bangalore. The film is being driven by numbers in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan and Nizam / Andhra and should collect around 14 crore nett. The early numbers were not great in Maharashtra and Gujarat but if the can come in good then the film could go higher towards 15 crore nett.

The number in Rajasthan is looking around 80 lakh while Nizam / Andhra could be even more and these suggest an easy 15 crore nett plus but there will under performance in East Punjab, West Bengal and Mysore and Mumbai city and Pune. Despite mass pockets being better they also cant be called good but this can change on day two and it hopefully collections reach the good level.

The film needs to improve collections at multiplexes especially the bigger ones as business is pretty dull in these lot. The numbers that have come are mainly due to the star power of Salman Khan and as mentioned before there will comparisons with his pre pandemic Eid releases but its a different ball game now after the pandemic. Even a Tubelight had higher collections earlier but today a regular film with a big star has limitations as has been seen over the last 18 months while a big budget product with super rich production values with a star cast gets the big initials

Before the pandemic Salman Khan was getting around 20 crore nett plus opening day for these type of films but now that number is down by 25-30%. It can be said that the film has been hit by a crore or two by Pre Eid but that hardly makes much difference.

commin sense the more sleek the project with big banner high octane Hollywood like vfx etc …will be better esp post pandemic

Director also matters, it's a Trivikram movie, chances of movie getting a hit status is very high.
