Hera Pheri is a cult classic and the USP is the chemistry and relationship between the trio. They should let it be and it's a bad move for Karthik to take this one.

BW seriously lacks original stories. Absurdly instead of getting new writers or paying the existing ones well, they are into remaking old hits. Strangely they only pay director & actors very well. Where does the team effort go when it comes to monetary gain?

Remaking Hera Phera just won't work, infact Phir Hera Pheri too don't do well.

Some stories just need to be told once, that's their quality.

everyone was also saying this for BB2 and look how well it turned out..made way more money than original

they also said the same for welcome back with nana and anil being there but john replacing akki..imagine john replacing akki..but it was also a superhit

point being..these stars have lost their minds..they ask insane prices and they think no one can replace them but results state otherwise..and i am sure here it would again be the same case..akshay has given 4 flops in a row in a single year..clearly script is not something he looks upto..of course if he asks same price after delivering massive duds back to back..he will get replaced..and i am glad they are not being treated as Gods anymore..high time

Writing is the skeleton on which a film is built. Somehow, filmmakers have forgotten the fact.

Blunder on part of Akki to let go of his iconic film role.

There is no Raju, Shyam or Baburao except Akki, Sunil and Paresh. No Hera Pheri without them. Period.

Kartik will ruin it. He does not have comic timing of Akki.

How is this overrated guy getting sequels of iconic films and is also in all ads and talked of by all starlets? WTF is so special about him?

Answer to your bold part: I wrote it out on the first page, that how he's getting things easier for himself by dating the nepokids despite of not being a nepo kid himself.🤪 No wonder why he keeps switching partners frequently, the more partner he can make from the nepo families, the more he can fit into the elite society. That's how he's climbing the ladder so fast. Kartik is a prime example of how far a power thirsty person can stretch himself. He's a male gold-digger.😛

Terrible move on Akki’s part as well. How can he let go of his iconic roles so easily? Why is he ruining his career for his greed? This movie would have given him an ATBB which his career never had.

Reminds of young Dharmendra who befriended Meena Kumari and bonded with her over drinks and poetry and used her links to get to know producers and also befriended Nutan, Sharmila, charmed top actresses of that time, used their links to get to know producers and visit top studios. Was smart enough to trap Hema also who was top star of her time and dethroned all actresses.
