3. Nepo girls are planting rumors about him on KwK and as blinds.

Karthik is no great shakes as an actor and is only average on looks.

However, his hit ratio is better than those of his contemporaries. That and only that is the reason producers sign him. Money.

No one is signing him because he is dating nepo girls. Or Aditya would be signing films left and right.

There is literally not one film that he signed because of him dating a nepo. All the nepo kids dating him started after his sonu film sucess. Before that, nobody gave him bhav so how did that benefit him. He provided massive moolah to his producers when compared to any of his contemporaries, so naturally most producers are lined up to sign him. He may not be a great actor or really good looking chap but he is definitely doing something right and connects with the audience. It is working in his favor and producers wants just that.

As far as Akshay backing off from hera Pheri, it sounds like a massive error on Akki's part. He had a sure shot hit on his plate with this iconic film. It sounds absolutely bizarre that he let go off this movie because of script as if he cares for one. 😛

Well Kartik made a base for himself before he started to hit off with the starkids who came from affluent families, he had to make a ground for himself at first. I agree that those same girls including Sara, Janhvi, Ananya wouldn’t even pay any attention to him had he still been stuck to his Pyaar Ka Punchnama days. But he overnight became a sensation after Sonu Ke Titu.....and Kartik utilized his every opportunity starting from here.

I don't blame him for being an opportunist, those who become something from nothing often take such routes. We cannot tell with certainty that nobody is signing him not because he is dating those nepo girls....well he's creating networks and getting invitation to more and more parties while being flexible with them, so even if it's 5% benefit, still it's an opportunity. Even Akki did the same during his earlier days and eventually married Rajesh Khanna's daughter. That's how the game of power works. That term 'gold digger' I used in my previous comment as sarcasm, since most of the time it’s girls who are name called like that if they do the same things, you know.

Is Akshay sick? Doubt he has ever looked at the script of the movie.

Very good example of Akki who mostly went after affluent or industry girls like Raveena, daughter of producer and eventually married Rajesh Khanna's daughter Twinkle and upgraded his stature.

He was also a climber, player and proper gold digger, casanova.

SRK is the only outsider who made it without trapping industry women to get ahead in life. I do not know about his relation with likes of K Jo though. K Jo's fondness for him seems weird to me. I would not like to go in rumours of SRK being bisexual and Vir Sanghvi once openly asking him about his sexual orientation.

Akshay actually got movies with Raveena, Karisma, etc. He gave hits with them.

Which films did Karthik do with nepo gang which became a hit? There were clearly 2 he got because of them, and he walked out of one.

Karthik used the girls to improve his profile for sure. Desirability factor etc. Same as done by Ranbir with Deepika and Katrina.

Karthik didn't benefit from the move. In fact, they're trying their hardest to smear him.

Gold digger means he got the films because of his association with the nepo girls. He clearly didn't. The people signing him post the Dharma fiasco are not from the nepo circle.

I'd even say Karthik's success is DESPITE the nepo circle.

I'm not a fan of the dude. Yet. Am watching his progress with interest because he's clearly shrewd, and I haven't seen him plant nasty blinds. Yet.

Still, he deserves credit for what he's done so far all on his own.

I actually wanted to mention about SRK that how much I admire him for the fact that he climbed higher with focusing on his crafts only and never involved into any scandal during his initial days.

And I think Kjo is fond of him because SRK used to have that effect of Midas during his prime time, whatever he used to touch it turned into gold, so there it was Kjo who wanted to 'dig gold' by casting SRK into his movies constantly, lol.😆 But the same Kjo was turning away from SRK when he started to face failure, Kjo even liked a negative tweet against SRK which became a news back then, and afterwards Karan claimed that his tweeter account was having technical problem.🤪 So you can see, in the end everything is about the game of power and people want to be around you as long as you're doing good. Moreover, once someone starts thriving from the bottom, they also start doing the same. Period.

Kartik found his success mantra. Remakes of old Akshay movies.

I actually find SRK's success most fascinating given how unconventional it is.

There were more odds against him but he defied it all and became too huge. It is surprising.

How he managed to become a power center in himself.

I just dont find Karthik appealing at all.
