Can anybody tell me how did worldwide gross collections suddenly became the yardstick of the success for Bollywood films? All these years in the forum, fangroups and BO pundits kept on screaming that a film is only declared a superhit on the basis of Net figure and that too only India collection. But all the figures being thrown at by the producers are worldwide gross figures. They haven't released a single nett figure for India. Different yardsticks for different films? Because I clearly remember the same forum rejoicing now screaming down at everyone's throats how we need to look at the net domestic collections and not gross worldwide. 😆

Who said that i predicted brahmastra to be a failure, I was excited about the movie. I m merely stating a fact that everyone is making a BIG deal about the collections, in reality it has underperformed that's all. 👍🏼

Most of the people didn't like Pushpa, KGF 2. So, you will talk to them like this? Many people say that Pushpa & KGF 2 were cringefest

The yardstick has always been domestic net collection. I remember bec srk's movies performed better overseas and salman fans would hit us on the head with 'only india matters'

I'm guessing that in brahmastra its a little bit of both.. On one side its not a disaster like many of us thought it would be... On the other side the producers are pushing the worldwide collections to attract more audiences and positioning it as a bigger hit than it 'currently' is.

But I'm honestly not seeing the numbers or critical acclaim that would justify a part 2.
