may be as per their plan, dev n amrita is main couple of story. So they didn't put much effort in creating isha-shiva love angle which is good coz i don't like ranbir-alia. I really hope ranbir-deepika play dev n amrita in brahmastra 2 which would b amazing like Baahubali 2. I dont think I am saying anything new at this point after so many critic and public reviews but just wanted to put my thoughts out there!Good vfx, good vfx, good vfx!!Great background score and music, BAD Acting, worst screenplay, no-chemistry love angle..
This might be an unpopular opinion but I felt not just Alia, even Ranbir's acting was below the bar...his performance was very inconsistent and it was jarring at many places...I felt his performance in worse films like Shamshera was more sincere than this one!
Alia-Ranbir literally have no chemistry...it would have been fun to see Isha actually being part of Astraverse already and possessing some powers of her own, just gone out to recruit Ranbir for this mission...Anything would have been better than this Shiva girl she plays...Alia is a great actor for serious roles but I always find her unconvincing in romantic movies...she would look better with Varun or Sid but defo not Ranbir...
If they wanted to make love story the main point of the movie, then they should have invested more in it..this is highly unexpected from Ayan who has given us Wake up Sid, to not put out a good love story!
