Korean Dramas

  • True Beauty - Available on Vikki - download the app.
  • Hometown Cha Cha - Available on Netflix. : This has been on my list for so long since I really like Shin Min Ha 💕

If you’re looking for more angsty but great love stories then I recommend the following. Happy endings are a must so you don’t have to worry about getting depressed.

  • It’s Okay Not To Be Okay - Available on Netflix.
  • Secret Love (2013) - Available online on Kiss Asian or DramaFever etc
  • Goblin - Available on Vikki: I was watching this but for some reason I stopped at episode 11 or 12 and forgot to catch up. That was last year. This is also why I don’t have kids. I would put them somewhere and forget about them. 🤨

Turkish Dramas: love what I have seen of Turkish dramas so far, enough to start learning the language but there are sooooooo many episodes, so little time. 😭

Mix of Romantic Comedy and angst. Great great romance with a definite happy ending.

  • Kiralik Ask
  • Hercai
  • Siyah Beyaz Ask
  • Ask Latfan Anlamaz: I watched this back in 2017 but lost interest after they got married 😦

English Movies: Seen all these more than once. Mr Thornton is highly underrated 💕

  • Pride & Prejudice - All versions 😆
  • Jane Eyre (2011) is so romantic *sigh*
  • North & South *triple sigh*

Thanks for the recommendations but I’m in instant gratification mode and these are all shows. Bookmarked for future reference! 🧚🏻‍♀️

Feel good 👍🏼 😊

Thank you! Already watched it. It was entertaining but I really didn’t like Keira’s character. She was so lifeless.

You too my friend! I love period shows. I think There’s only one I have not watched, yet. It’s Sandition. Have you seen it? I’ve heard it’s quite underrated as far as Jane Austen’s novels go. It’s on Amazon prime but it’s not free right now.

I get it. I skipped it for the longest time also because of Gerard Butler, but I like Katherine Heigl a lot and gave in for her. Ended up loving it and it sure made me like Gerard Butler a lot better too 😆

Like someone mentioned, "Ugly Truth" - I enjoy watching Katherine on screen, so there's "27 Dresses, Life as we know it, Killers" - Last one not really opposites attract but it was a decent flick!

Two recommendations for the same movie? It must be good then 🥳

Also Colin Firth’s Mr Darcy IS THE ONLY MR DARCY!!! ☺️🤗

Thank you! Haven’t seen What if, yet. Also yes! Colin Firth in every era is a Mr. Darcy. I’m obsessed with all his Mr. Darcy versions. 😂

I'd even watch Breakfast at Tiffany's for the umpteenth time if I'm truly out of options. 😆

I love The Holiday. That cottage Kate Winslet lives in is my ideal house 😆

Yes I have seen it. This show has a cult following of its own . I watched it through a free trial. For me it was strictly okay, not the best I have seen. Didn’t give me Austen vibes. But then again her novel was unfinished and the show embellished most of it.
