I think there's nothing shallow about being attracted to physical beauty. Inside matters a lot but this quote that "only" inside matters is quite overrated to be honest, now beauty is a subjective thing and different people can get attracted to different things. At the end of the day personality is what clicks with the other person but firstly you gotta be atleast physically attracted to the person of your interest in order to have a healthy relationship/dating and all.

I agree. When we see a beautiful scenery, do we not feel enamored to it? When we see a beautiful well-designed house, do we not feel enamored by it? We are visual creatures. our evolution happened in a way that has made vision our primary sense. So yes I am attracted to a beautiful /handsome face.

I think I get attracted to conventional physical beauty in first sight but it won't necessarily lead to any other feelings as for me the personality is very important. Also if we are talking about accepting a person in our life no matter how they look for others in our eyes they are good looking.
