One story

One guy was coming back to home at late night walking.A cat was coming beside him.He tried to shoo away the cat but the cat did not go and it kept walking beside him. Then after sometime the cat turned into a very tall man much taller than normal humans. Then his height became like normal human being. Then the man said to the guy don't be scared I am like your father I will accompany you to your home. The guy kept walking and that cat turned man also kept walking with him then he reached home safely.the figure disappeared may be don't remember properly. He got unwell after reaching home out of fear.

Don't know if it is true my mother said it was shared to her by the guy himself.

There used to be this thing here in the 90s. When people walked home after a late night movie ,a guy approached them and asked for a light. Then he'd 'accidentally ' drop it ,ask the other person if they could get it When the other person bent down to lift the lighter or matchbox they'd see buffalo's legs in this guy's trousers. Hooves and all.

The trick was to scare people and rob them.

Also, possessions are messy. Exorcisms are not the most pleasant of experiences and its not easy to find the right expert in these matters. At least we can book the hell out of a haunted place if we sense anything amiss.

We had this neighbour, lovely lady ,who was into the Pentacost thing. When I refused to appear for the board exams and started rebelling at home everyone including her decided I had a 'problem'( possession according to most even though the problem was tht I hadn't studied ). . She took me to her church to fix me. There was a mass-ish thing. Dozens of problem- people . When the priest prayed a lot of them started falling and rambling. The priest came to me and yelled "HaaaaaaalleluJAAAAAAH " into my ears. Then he touched my forehead and started praying. That was my cue to fall. I didn't. He started pushing . I pushed back. After a few minutes he said it was impossible to exorcise me as long as I had the bindi on. I took it off. He started praying and pushing. I refused to fall ,again. Finally he gave up saying I was under the influence of evil Hindu deities lol

Most of the people who came there were just lonely and they loved the attention. So it wasn't exactly a bad thing. Like they were making do with whatever they could get.

Some of the Surahs are so soothing. They used to help me sleep when I had insomnia. I love listening to them when there's moonlight idk why.

I find them very soothing as well. I also love listening to Ava Maria, the version sung by Celine Dion. Gives me goosebumps 🥺

Oh lord, your description of both you and the priest playing a tug of war game during an exorcism had me cracking up. I’m still laughing. 😂 My friend was once convinced that black magic was done on her so we went to see someone who deals with this kind of stuff. I wasn’t taking it that seriously but still accompanied my friend coz she was scared.

The man put his hand over my head and started reciting prayers. I was swallowing my giggles with my nose flaring from trying to contain it. Then when he put his hand over my friends head, she had her eyes closed and then started bawling her eyes out while he prayed over her.

I was like WTF is going on. Am I sitting besides someone whose possessed?

Image

Then I realised that I drove her to this place which meant now I gotta sit in the same car with a possibly possessed person, friend or not, which is something I never agreed on when signing this friendship contract. 🤣

Haha. Yeah it was hard not to laugh but I couldn't...they'd have assumed I was mocking their faith. Everyone stared at me...waiting for that moment. A big shrieky melt down and a couple of rants from the demons before I pass out. I was the youngest person there so it added to their curiousity. Felt bad about having to disappoint them but I didn't have the balls to play along. I think I kinda wanted to? That kind of hysteria is very tempting. Anyway I was the party pooper .

How was the ride back home ? 🤣🤣🤣Did your friend say anything ? It must have been awkward. Did she catch you sneaking glances at her now and then lol. . Even if you can come up with the right things to say ,it's tricky when they ask you if you feel better. You can say something like "Yeah !! ..I feel light. And calm" but the next day when you meet them you're just as hyper as you were before. That might make them think you need another visit and finally you 'll have to tell them .

It's not as if I don't believe in any of that....but 90% of what goes on is B.S and thankfully hilarious too.

Look at this woman , you can tell she's faking it because the ghost is supposed to be a guy and has thoroughly possessed her but whenever her dupatta slides off her chest she puts it right back . Pretty chivalrous for a ghost who wants to kill her 🤣

This reminds me of a childhood visit to a dargah (Mira Datar Dargah in a nondescript location near Reay Road in Mumbai). As soon as I entered the premises, I was greeted by a lady summersaulting and landing inches from my feet!!! She proceeded with her summersaults nonchalantly. There were people talking to themselves, some hitting themselves. There were people chained to poles!!! There was a saint singing Sufi rhymes (it was extremely beautiful to hear) just outside. And there were normal folks just going about their visit. There was clearly a lot going on lol.

These people that were chained were apparently being treated for possession of djinns and their ilk. 😲

My logical explanation would be they were either insane or deserted by their families.

Though I must mention I felt a lot of serenity in the sanctum sanctorum, and in general by the visit. One of the reasons I like the Kun Faya Kun song is that it reminds me of this dargah.
