Personal experience says that's not necessarily true.

Different standards for different generations. Up to the 90s being curvy was the fashion. From the 2000s onwards skinny became the new parameter. But on the other hand the standards relaxed on the matter of classically beautiful features. Striking, attractive and stunning are good enough now. With the advent of the social media the aspirational levels are going up through the roof. There's no longer that difference between 'us' and 'them'. The sheer number of people hitting the gyms for a six-pack or flat belly are going up. And damaging their spine due to excess workout. I wouldn't want anyone imitating the celebrity's crazy diets or unnecessary plastic surgery trends either.

The only one who looks malnourished and sick is Alia. The rest look healthy.

Don't know what message it sends but I do prefer a healthy or curvy body instead of just skin and bones. And actresses these days for some reason are obsessed with having a size zero figure instead of developing their acting skills.

Yeah, even her skin doesn't glow because she seems unhealthy.

Kareena looked stunning to me in Don .. but then she suddenly lost a lot of weight and I remember she fainted on the sets of Tashan.

I think, I if it's their body type and they are healthy it should be fine. If they are pushing their body beyond its limits its a problem.

Also, minty.. Sonali wasn't really "Skinny" in that sense.. Shilpa, and Sonali had gorgeous figures during that era. I think people who starve themselves and over exercise (anorexic) loose fat on their breasts too an appear weak... they looked pretty normal and gorgeous to me.

Personally. I think being extremely thin only works if you dress up like celebs and wear more body revealing clothes.

If I get as thin as them.. jeans etc don't look good on me I feel...

Ananya and Tara are fit, not malnourished.

Actresses are not obsessed with zero figure or look too thin, apart from Alia, who looks like she needs a burger asap.

It is the fitness culture, which makes them loose fat as much as possible. These girls will probably knock some of the us out of the pqrk, given how much they spend time on building core strength and cardio.

Apart from those who have done surgeries ofcourse😆
