You were trying to justify what the movies show by bringing in societal norms that older guy and younger girl are accepted as a couple. When 20 year old age difference between couples are never accepted in our society. So "societal norms" is not a justification for what the movies show.
I'm not "angry", but I do understand what the argument here is about. I too have no problem with age difference between couples even if they dance around trees. But the discussion doesn't finish there and it's not that simple like you all make it out to be.
If a grandpa romancing a 20 something girl is accepted in movies, then a grandma romancing 20 something guy should be accepted as well. If they don't then that's misogyny.
