I am glad this one happened because this once and for all clears how ridiculously limited parineeti is as an actor..

i saw the original GOTT..and it was no Gone Girl but after seeing this horrible mess of a movie..i realize it was so so much better.

A movie cannot work if the lead actress is acting like a caricature..

emotional scene..make that crying face (check)

drunk scene..walk..see..talk like a drunk person (check)

happy scene..smile like madhuri dixit..(check)

This is not acting..this is rehersing 2/3 expressions and copy pasting it on the required scene..in short a caricature..in short mechanical/fake/not real..where is the depth? where are the naunces? ZERO!! I am shocked director approved these..her breakdown in the loo was one of the worst breakdown scenes EVER..the way she was reading her lines ( i would say reading coz that is what she did in that scene and in almost entire movie) and her eyes had no depth..i did not see any anger in them..if you guys really wana see difference between acting and being a caricature..please COMPARE THIS SCENE TO THAT IN THE ORIGINAL..

Parineeti has failed and failed and failed and there is no less harsh way to say it..there is no nepotism to defend it..it is plain and simple..she FAILED!!

it is sad coz she had potential and was good in her first 3 movies however post MPB..i have no idea what just happened to her..she has lost it completely

Aditi and kriti were better by miles..

The director needs to really rethink what he was thinking while making this mess and while casting a non actor in such a crucial role..it costed him terribly

1/5

avoid it even if it is free on OTT..rewatch the original instead

This was the worst movie I've watched this year. I dunno how Parineeti saw Emily Blunt in the original and produced that horribly caricaturish performance UGH. And that twist? Whose bright idea was that? Just smh all round. Absolutely terrible and I'm pissed that Avinash and Aditi were wasted. 0/10 🤬

I liked the movie. Haven’t watched the Hollywood one or read the book hence I wasn’t expecting or prejudiced towards anything. Probably that’s why I liked it.

Pari’s acting I will rate as average. Avinashi Tiwari was good. Aditi was bland and beautiful. Meh.

I liked the movie mostly. But I think the mystery angle was a bit stretched and seemed pakau at the end.

I watched it. I wished it was a bit tighter. Liked Parineeti and Avinash in it though. Last twist was nice.

I keep hearing about this unnecessary last twist. Can anyone tell me what it was? Don’t wanna watch the movie. Original was barely tolerable.

I have to agree with you. I also felt that Pari was extremely limited and a miscast in this role.

I was not even convinced by her alcoholic act. It felt more like she was portraying a drug addict.

Watched it. Strictly average. I feel Avinash Tiwary and Kriti gave good performances. Parineeti was really bad. She couldn't properly emote in many scenes especially the drunk parts. Having watched both versions, although Im not a huge fan of the Hollywood one, it seems to be much better than this. Especially acting. I mean, Emily Blunt nailed it in that aspect.

Exactly my views. I am shocked how many people here think that Parineeti was good. She was awful and I was actually looking forward to seeing her because I have always felt she isn’t getting her due.
